After 20 years on Propranolol I am now having scarey vivid dreams. Could the combination of that drug and Primidone cause this. I would hate to stop my meds. Tremor is somewhat under control

i am nervous of taking beta blockers as i thought they were for heart problems.

IT JUST HASN'T DONE MUCH FOR ME. I'M STILL NERVOUS AND ANXIOUS. I WOULD BE IN ABOUT THE SAME SHAPE WITHOUT IT.

Has greatly reduced the number and intensity of my migraines. However, still get them about 2-3 a month and I pop about 3 Tylenol. Imitrex did not work for me and Maxalt makes me more nauseated.

THIS MEDICINE HAS STOPPED THE TREMORS IN MY HANDS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY.

I was pretty pessimistic being put on a high blood pressure medication. However, I was certainly wrong when I thought I didn't need it, forgetting to take it after three days certainly made me grab my chest in pain. So, definately it is a medication that does what it's intended to do. No side effects really, it kept me in check when I forgot to take it, I did receive headaches, but I thought this was a good thing because it made me remember to take it.

I had been to the hospital many ttimes and no doctor put me me on medication for a fast heart beat, and anxiety attacks. This drug has helped me regain control of my life i love it.

I was prescribed this drug for my anxiety, only taking it about 1-2 times a day every other day when I got nervous or sick to my stomach. It worked great and fast! I thought it was a miracle until I started having nightmares at night because that can be one of the side effects. It was making me more depressed and I was having dreams that seemed like they were real and were more like hallucinations. I am now off the medication. Bad dreams were gone within 3 days of not taking any.

I did not know it was a class of Beta Blockers.

I dont wake up in the middle of the night with a migraine. It has not done a whole lot if I get one during the day.

I've been on it for about a week, for migraine prevention, and so far, so good. I was getting severe migraines 3-5 times a week, and now I've only experienced a few.

It works great for stage fright.

I started this medicine for anxiety, and it has helped slightly. I do however notice my hands tremble less than normal, thanks to the medicine.

1st day seemed o.k., this might work, 2nd day feeling nauseated, restless, left knee giving out, but did'nt know if that was just me, had some diarhea, not feeling up to eating much. 3rd day, major diarhea, dizzy, tingleling through all part's of my head, very nauseated, light headedness, back of left thigh now giving out sometimes when walking. dry mouth, not able to eat because everything has gone through me. 4th day called doctor to ask if I could get off this medication because it's making me sick insted of betterRead More Read Less

ED, hair loss, weight gain

It has helped out greatly with my racing heartbeat brought on by anxiety. I am also a migraine sufferer. I used to get a couple a week but since starting this a month ago I have only had one attack.

med has reduced my migraines greatly.
