This is has been a miracle drug for me - I only need to take over the counter Advil maybe once or twice a week while I was on the medication, but I too am having trouble getting it due to manufactures' hold on it. Anyone know what is going on?

Best relief I have gotten in long while. However last few months having difficulty getting RX refilled. Being told by pharmacy there is supply issues at manufacture. Any one else seeing this issue?

after having been on this medicine for just over a yr, i have had barely any releif from my pain. It was prescribed to me through the VA for back pain and spasims.

I have been treated for a spinal injury I received in the military and related arthritis for 20 years. I have had numerous problems with other nsaid meds ranging from gerd to allergic reactions. With piroicam I had absolutly no difficulty and more relief than any other nsaid has given me. This medication has been a lrue lifesaver.

I'm taking this medication for it's anti-inflamitory effects. I don't seem to get very much relief when using. I'm currently trying core stengnthing exercises

Since using this drug, I am no longer stiff in the morning or after sitting for a long periods which would always come after heavy activities. I can walk without pain. Old ankle injury

I am having less pain in my fingers. However, it has not done much for my arthritis in my spine. Me side effects have been raw spots in my stomach.

I take it only when I have pain. No side effects

My doctor put me on this because of pain in my wrist. After taking for about a week I started having a LOT of bleeding with bowl movements so I discontinued the treatment.

My PCP prescribed this medicine for abdominal pains, cramping and nausea associated with PMS. It did not reduce any pain. I also have arthritis and although the doctor did not prescribe this for that, I didn't notice any reduction in joint stiffness and pain either.

I've been taking the drug on and off for a couple of years for back pain. Typical time frame of 1 week to a month for taking the drug. It works ok in a few days but causes instant constipation.

After 8 months of daily use, I began to notice stomach distress, dark stools with constipation and bitter taste in my mouth. Combining it with an antacid will hopefully alleviate the stomach problem.

Joint inflamation in my foot was causing pain and thus limiting my walking activity. I haven't noticed a total relief but every little bit helps and it was inexpensive which was great!
