I have a friend that took this medication, and the next morning she lost her eye sight. Then 6 months later she is blind in the other eye. That night she had a terrific pain and headache.

Worked well to get rid of infection but I got terrible bloating and stomach cramps, had to stop taking with 3 pills left

I have taken it several times for urinary track or bladder infection. It has always worked, but sometimes I need additional days of cipro to rid the bacteria from my body. Cipro upsets my stomach and makes me constipated.

While my symptoms cleared up in 1 day, I find that I cannot sleep longer than 30 minutes at a time so am awake most of the night; also have this terrible taste in my mouth.

My stomach has had slight pain but other than that nothing really has happened. All my symptoms of my UTI have disappeared though with only three days worth of dosage. Gladly will take it again.

this medication helped with my UTI, but while taking this med I feel weird and very sensitive. I cry easy and my head feels like a hangover feeling. Is this natural?

I am always hesitant to use antibiotics due to side effects, but Cipro luckily gave me none, and got rid of the UTI very quickly. Will use this drug again if needed.

Medication worked extremely well for my sinus infection. Four days into taking the pills I ended up with a severe rash from my feet to my chest/back. I would never take this medication again.

This medication helped my UTI symptoms, however, Cipro causes nausea. I threw up when I took the meds without eating first. I have had cramps and horrible stomach pain.

I found this drug to work very well it took away my kidney infection or at least the symptoms in one day.

I've had a weird feeling on the bottoms of my feet and hands. I don't know if I want to call it numbness/tingly or an abnormal sensation.

Have taken Cipro twice now for UTI and have had great results. With this drug I have not had vaginal yeast infections that seem to always come with other drugs for UTI.

I am on antibiotics often and this one really sends me into a funk. I have lucid, vivid nightmares at night and horrible stomach pain all day. Although I have not thrown up from taking it, I am nauseus constantly. It makes me very "foggy," like I have to concentrate very hard on what I am doing because I get easily confused. My vision gets blurry, but not so bad that I can not work. I usually take Cipro for 21 days and the side effects last the entire time.

I got several of the severe side effects from this drug. At least five of them as well as several of the less severe ones. I don't know if they will go away or if this drug has done prementant damage.

I have only been on this medication for three days and I feel about 90% better. I usually take Augmentin for sinus infections and I usually don't feel better for at least 5 to 7 days after starting it.

I was taking this drug 2 times a day. Am dose is fine. PM dose gave me a headache with upset stomach and a weird fluttery type of feeling in my chest and head. I was originally prescribed avelox for my sinus infection but opted for this drug due to insurance choices etc. I should have just spent the extra money. Now I will be spending more that I would have if I would have gotten the other drug in the first place. After struggling with this med for 1 4 days I can't take it any more.

My doctor has perscribed this several times for me due to recurring UTI's, The medicine usually brings relief within 24 hrs. The only side effect was it makes cigarettes taste horrbile - I guess another use for quiting smoking. I found it to be very helpful for treating UTI's
