I was prescribed this medication for acne rosacea. It dried out my skin a lot and made it redder than if I had used nothing (which I wound up doing to calm the skin). Also, it did not help in reducing the severity or number of pustules.

I'm currently on retin-a and duac as well. AcZone has improved my skin tremendously.

I am 27 and have suffered with adult acne for the last few years. I have tried differn, proactiv and other acne medications and nothing has worked this fast.I have been using Aczone for 8 weeks and my skin is really clearing up. My dark spots from past acne is slowly be surely clearing away.

Have used it for months with very little difference in my acne. For the price of this medication it should do something!

my doctor gave me this for rosacea. is that right?

Unfortunately saw no results with this product.

easy to use - was informed by dr. to be patient and let aczone have time to go to work -- haven't had much luck with other meds. face looks great

It was very hard to use this at first because it caused me to break out everywhere then it dried out my skin over that. After a few weeks, it started to clear then got better and better. My forehead still has some minor breakouts, but my cheeks, chin and nose are much better. I have tried many medications for acne over the years (I'm 37) and nothing has worked as well as this. There are very few side effects after the initial breakout period, no redness, dryness, etc. It also seems to help with old minor acne scars and discoloration. It seems to really help with my acne. the only problem is, it immediatly drys up my skin when i put it on. i found as long as a moisturize right after, i am fine.

i think this is just white gel in a tube. no positive effects whatsoever...none

I have been using Aczone for 4 weeks so far, and my skin has improved dramatically in this time. Prior to using Aczone, I had tried essentially every topical and oral medication for acne. Although some were mildly effective, I could never get my skin perfectly clear. I wasn't hopeful for Aczone, but the results so far have been amazing. Now that my skin has become clearer, twice daily application where I do not have any blemishes causes mild dry skin and redness, so I only apply it all over my face at night and where I am experiencing breakouts I also apply it in the morning. It does not bleach anything or cause any other problems. I love Aczone and hope that with continued use, I'll get the perfect skin I've been hoping for!Read More Read Less

I have only been using Aczone for about a month. My doctor put me on this along with Retin-a Micro to assist in the breakout period that comes along with Retin-a Micro. So far I have seen positive results, though I still have a long way to go (dry skin and some redness.) Just a tip (I didn't know this beforehand) Wait 20 minutes after cleansing to apply product.
