I'm really surprised to hear all of these negative reviews because I've had a really great experience with Beyaz. A few years ago, I was taking regular Yaz and I really liked it. After I lost my insurance I switched to a generic that was cheaper, Lo Ovral. On Lo Ovral, I got frequent headaches and gained about ten pounds. So as soon as I got my insurance back, I switched to Beyaz (Yaz now has a ge...

I just started using Beyaz about 1.5 months ago and so far I'm pleased. I am disappointed that it hasn't helped improve my adult acne, but my period was lighter and shorter which I really appreciated. I'm hoping that my acne will improve in the next few months. When I was on Yaz years ago, my acne was wonderful, but when my insurance stopped covering the costs I had to switch. I'm hoping that things will improve from here. I'm lucky to have experienced no headaches and very rare nausea at the start. Read More Read Less

I loved Yaz but had a hard time getting my insurance to cover it with all the pending lawsuits. I switched to several others that made me batty, gain weight, acne, and migraines. Finally back on the Beyaz and feel like myself again- except I have been spotting a lot during my cycles. My period came 15 days early and stayed for 7 days! I have been "dry" for all of 3 days and will probably start bleeding again once I hit the sugar pills in 2 days. That is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars. But headaches are gone, acne is gone, and finally (with a diet) my weight is coming off. Read More Read Less

I was on Yaz for 4 years with no side effects. Since I do not have insurance, my doctor switched me to Beyaz since there was a promotion to save money. I have never been so nauseous in my life. I had to leave work early one day because I had a stomach ache and severe nausea. I couldn't eat for 3 days! I am assuming it's the B vitamins which caused this, but I called my doctor and am going to switch back to Yaz.

This medication is the exact same as Yaz, only this one includes a B vitamin that could help with pregnancy...but it's a birth control. This med is out because Yaz went generic, and the company still wants to make money. Not worth the cost in my opinion.

I have a history of unregular cycles: basically I have a period every 2 weeks. After several years on depo provera my Dr and I decided to try Beyaz. I started my 2nd pack today, and have spotted for a week and then a heavy period. I have begun experiencing bad headaches as well as feelings of depression, and horrible sleep patterns. I'm unhappy with this product so far, and appreciate others having shared theirs as well.

I would suggest not taking this medicaiton. I was taking YAZ and had a heartattack due to the medication. Now my life has completely changed and I'm only 35. I'm too young to be dealing with all of the aftereffects. It angers me that YAZ and now this new medication is on the market to hender people. I was told that there is only a 1% chance of a side effect, guess I was that 1%. It's your body, your decision... but I'm here to tell you... there is nothing good about the YAZ family.

I had been taking Yaz for years. Recently they apparently changed the formula and called it Beyaz Oral. After a month I started noticing really bad, sudden headaches. After two months those headaches were an everyday thing. I stopped taking them a month ago, and I still get those sudden extremely painful headaches.
