I started this drug about 2 months ago after struggling with IBS with Constipation for most of my adult life. I am now 42! This drug caused a burning sensation in my esophagus, making it hard to swallow. Because of that, I had to have a barium swallow, which caused severe constipation for 3 months and a hospital bill of 3 hundred dollars that I have yet pay and is now destroying my credit. I feel I should be compensated for my loss and aggravation.

I suffered from chronic constipation. Have had much success going to bathroom with this med. The one issue with this med has been occasions when you think you're just going to pass gas but instead you get poop. Not pretty!

I took this medication for the first time today, and ate my first meal- - in years - without horrible abdominal distention for hours afterward! I might even get to add some " normal" items to my menu- things that are not "soft-mechanical, bland, basic" - what a gift! I thank the Pharmaceutical companies for investing in the R&D required to deliver this product to the market! Due to medications I have had irritable bowel syndrome with constipation for a number of years. I take have taken 2 stool softeners twice a day for years. Lately the problem has got worse. Dr. prescribed Linzess/daily. I took it for two weeks - great med. By the third week I have been able to cut back to every other day.

I took the prescribed dose, one pill, 145 mcg, and within 3 hours I had severe abdominal gas, bloating, and EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA. It lasted for about 2 hours and every time I moved, another bout of diarrhea happened.

I had tried other similar drugs, but the side affects were so bad, I had to stop using it. I LOVE this medication! With 2 hours of taking it, I'm FREE!! I sure hope this drug stays on the market for a long time!

What an amazing difference in my life! I was almost to the point of resigning myself to life and almost never going to the bathroom. This drug worked in less than 5 days and now I am regular. I was first given the highest dose; but I was having bouts of explosive diarrhea. The lower dose is perfect! And I agree with others, drinks lots of water.

Linezz is a miracle drug, I now have more of a normal life, I had problems for several years that are now gone. Thanks to LiNezz. I am praying that it will not be removed from the market-----Death begins in the colon--I now feel alive--thanks again LiNezz!!!!!!
