I'm only 48 and told a Specialist my symptoms and he never even checked me just said..yey, that's what you have overactive bladder..now take these pills/oxybutynin and try to eliminate them one at a time.....I cannot eliminate even one...I'd be on the flush all day..am I stuck with this "ALL", my life...I think it's making me very sleepy.

does anyone know if a side effect of this drug causes weight gain. I found that when I stopped taking it my weight stayed the same. and when I started taking it again, I gained weight. just wanted to see if it effected anyone else this way.

I have great results with the urinary issues but it does make my ankles and legs swell. cutting back on dose is my next step as i am house bound without it i need to check with dr to determine if this is a dangerous effect

Works pretty good

I have an overactive bladder, and need to urinate immediately, also urine leakage when I have a strong need to void and don't even make it to the doorway of the bathroom. My Dr. has prescribed many different prescription medications for my conditions, without much luck. So... he said there was one last one that he thought just might work, and the Ditropan has helped with everything except the urgency. Perhaps with time that will get better also.

Unfortunately, this medication did not work for me. I actually made my bladder spasm more frequently. I also experienced dry mouth and dry eyes as side effects. My dosage might not be higher enough, but I am still trying to find a treatment that relieves my OAB.

I love it. Although I'm Rx'ed for 3x in 24 hours, I take only one before bedtime and it has ended bathroom trips downstairs. And with no side effects whatever.

does have annoying side effects: dry mouth, trouble swallowing on any dose higher than 1/x day, dry nose. Does have one unexpected great benefit-stopped my hot flashes which I have 15-20 times/day.

This medication when taken with the other medication the Dr has me on made me very hyperactive and raised my BP up a little. I stopped taking this medicine and I was fine.

this medication somewhat helped with the frequency. the doctor said it might cause drowsiness, and i does with me.

I was having painful urination and frequent urination. I also found out when you don't have any homones in your body it can cause bladder problems. I only take this medication when needed. I take Vagifem for Vaginal dryness. I don't care for the dry mouth. Over all I don't like to take medications I think it helps!

It does not stop my incontinence. It helps a little on the frequency.

Have had no problems except my eye's get a little dry..(I wear contacts) but over all I am satisfied and no "accidents" I take this in the morning, because I'm with clients all day and don't have time to worry about making it to the ladies room

I have blurred vision and it has not yet seem to help me. I was not able to go out much due to the baldder problem. Now the blurred vision keeps me home and I am not able to drive or work right now.

It gives me blurred vivion and makes me dizzy without helping my bladder problem.

i have been useing this product for problems with leakedge around my catheter site i have a urinary catheter and this medication helps with this problem i have bladder spasems when i leak the medicine stops me from leaking blood and urine from the catheter site i am in urinary retention and have been since april of this year i have a long term catheter and i think this medication is very effective and very good i dont get any side affects with this medication my doctor thinks i have fowlers sydrome and further tests are being done to find a cause for this i am down for a super pubic catheter but have decided not to go throw with this i am keeping the catheter i have alleady got i am only 27 and have found it difficult to cope with this i have got stress and this medications helps me cope wit the lekage i found it very good and would recommend this as the best one i have treid for this complant. I have used this oxybutynin chloride oral, about seven months now and it has changed my life. where before I would stay at home, because of the need to urinate immediately, I'm able to hold my bladder longer, now and not having so much pain..I have cystitis and when I needed to go, it was right now or wet myself. this drug has helped a lot.I'm satisfied with this drug. its working for me.

Worked to some degree. Changed dosage from (2) 10mg ER tabs to 5mg tabs 3-4 times dailey. Very difficult swollowing and almost constant nausea accompinied w/trapped gas in stomach.
