This drug has changed my life. It is finally what I needed to cure my endometriosis. Thank you thank you!! I have no side effects, no weight gain, no breakthrough bleeding. My atrocious cramps are gone. I highly highly recommend this drug. In full disclosure I did 2 shots of Depo-provera and then switched to Slynd after I could not handle the side effects of the shot. It has been wonderful for me....

I was prescribed this medication to help with uterine fibroids. I have no idea if it helped or not because I can’t live with the side effects. After I started taking it I started having trouble with mood swings. Crying, irritability, depression. At first it was bad but by the last week in the pack all were very extreme. I would just caution anyone taking this to be aware in case it affects you the same way. Stopping this immediately.

I have Endometriosis.my doctor said that this pill can help.honestly the worst pill I've ever taken. The side effects were terrible, very strong weakness, vaginal infection, very high blood pressure. When I start to take the third package all the side effects come. BE CAREFUL!!!! AND Listen to your body!!!!!!!!!

I am 50 years old and previously suffered from fibroids. My doctor put me on this bcp to control bleeding as my blood level was dangerously low at 7.5. I have only been taking the pill for 1 month and I have not stopped bleeding. I am passing big and scary blood clots and i now have migraines. My doctor told me it was the side effects of this pill and to keep taking it for 3 months. I honestly don't think I can last another month. It has completely ruined my sexual relationship as I basically cannot have sex because of the constant bleeding. I will go ahead and test this for 1 more month then discontinue if the bleeding persist.Read More Read Less

I was on this pill for 3 months because of my periods being so bad. I went though a pad every 30 min. The first month I took this I had a lot of bleeding and bad headaches. 2nd month my legs and arms hurt so bad I could not stand it. I looked and that was a side effect to the pill. I then started to get tingling in my face and my speech was sometimes slurred. By the third month it was getting worse I stopped taking the pill and within 3 days I was feeling better. I will say I was luckily I got to have a partial hysterectomy. I feel for any woman that has to take this or any of the min pills out there. Read More Read Less

I have tried many different forms of birth control, this by far is the best one I have used. So far I have been taking it for 6 months, and I just feel so good about taking it. My first month I had two periods. One regular and one for 10 days. After that no periods or spotting at all. No mood swings, no weight gain or any side effects that I can tell. Sometimes I forget to take it, and will take it immediately when I remember and there are no hiccups in symptoms from what I can tell. I am extremely happy with this pill. It is seriously life changing because my periods were becoming horrible as I got older. I am 36 years old, and I feel great taking this. Read More Read Less

Slynd changed my life for the better. My main motivation for seeking treatment was mostly for physical menstrual symptoms, not necessarily JUST pregnancy prevention. I’m someone who cannot take estrogen, as it wreaks havoc on my mental & physical health, not to mention it drastically increases my stroke risk. 1+ years on Slynd has leveled out my hormonal swings and my periods are almost nonexistent, only extremely minimal spotting, at most. My periods starting at age 10 (I’m almost 30 now) have made me entirely miserable, anemic, and even physically disabled, for 3-5 days every single month. And that doesn’t include the WEEK of crazy miserable mood swings that normally preceded my period. Slynd has helped with every symptom and I feel stable all month long, even on the last 4 placebo doses. I know it’s a very different experience for everyone. But if you are someone who hasn’t had good luck with traditional BC pills and/or are sensitive to Estrogen, I encourage you to at least ask your doc about Slynd. Their patent owner also offers coupons for people who might be uninsured and GoodRX is great as well. I pay around $25 monthly at CVS without insurance and it’s one of the best $25 I spend every month. Read More Read Less

I have been on Slynd birth control for about a year now. I have to say this pill is amazing!! I have been on other birth controls in the past, to include the copper IUD and this is the best. I have no cramps, no period, no weight gain and better migraine! Yes, better migraine. No aura and the intensity is less. Also no break through bleeding. I'm also a fan of the halflife of this pill. It's 24 hours, in case I forget to take it at the same time everyday, I can take it layer and still be protected. Great drug and highly recommend!!Read More Read Less

I have fibroids and my cycles are every 3 weeks with severe heavy bleeding and cramps. I couldn’t leave my bed for the first 4 days of my cycle for the last 3 years. Slynd changed my flow instantly, I went from 6 thick overnight pads a day to 2 regular pads a day. Unfortunately, this pill has increased my migraine length substantially. I used to get 72 hour migraines before, during or after my cycle, but since being on the pill for about a month and a half I’ve had varying levels of migraines every single day. I’m at a cross roads, because while this pill has been super beneficial in regards to the heavy flow and cramps, the every day migraines may not be worth it. Read More Read Less

I was put on Slynd postpartum while breastfeeding, in order to avoid the oestrogen effects of reduced milk supply. I was on for two months and started bleeding within the first week and bled for the next 8 weeks straight. My bleeding was heavier than my normal period and very inconvenient/uncomfortable. But I tried to wait it out thinking the breakthrough bleeding has got to stop eventually, but after the 8 weeks of it I couldn’t stand it any longer and stopped taking it. While on it, I couldn’t decipher my actual period from the “breakthrough” bleeding because there was no break in the bleeding at all. All in all, I didn’t have the same level of breakthrough bleeding with other bcps, and absolutely no breakthrough bleeding with my favorite, Seasonique. I just want to be clear, I understand breakthrough bleeding is often a short lived effect of starting new bcps, but the volume of my bleeding (as I said above) was WORSE than my normal menstrual periods or any breakthrough bleeding I’ve ever experienced. I took Slynd for birth control only, and I have to say it worked like a charm. I bled so much that I had no interest in sex and therefore didn’t get pregnant!Read More Read Less

Having been on levlen, copper IUD, yaz and Yasmin; all with weight gain and breakthrough bleeding and some with severe mental side effects ... Slinda is fantastic in every way! No cramps , first week was bleeding but now I have normal mucus and my excess weight and bloating are going away. Extra bonus : my sex drive is back !!!! Even with antidepressants and adhd meds , my sex drive is pretty much back to pre-medication levels. I feel much better about myself and feel less hungry all the time. 10/10 experience.Read More Read Less

I started Slynd at the end of Feb 2021. I have never taken any sort of contraceptive ever before. i was upset at first that i had been prescribed something so new and untried. Ultimately it was a great first experience with BC. I have long struggled with mood related and energy related issues in relation to my period. With slynd for the first time i experienced a complete 180, i had anticipated the usual pms and mental symptoms would still be there but they were more than manageable. i was on slynd for 3 months straight, but had to switch because of the cost. it just didnt make sense to pay near $200 a month for it. no matter the benefits. so i had hopes for a smooth transition to a norethindrone POP... I'm already considering going back to slynd lolRead More Read Less

Started taking Slynd a month ago since I was having too much breakthrough bleeding with the Sharobel mini-pill. I have pretty good results with Slynd which I figured I would bcuz I use to take Ocella combo pill (had to stop due to estrogen and blood pressure issues) but Ocella and Slynd have the same type of progestin, and I had good results while using Ocella in the past. With Slynd I have no breakthrough bleeding at all. No breast tenderness, no weight gain (though I don't really have much of an appetite with this pill like I normally do with other pills), no headaches, no acne or weird mood swings. I did notice my sex drive decreased a lot and my body hairs grow faster so I have to shave Read More Read Less
