This is possibly the worst acne treatment I have ever used. Most insurance companies do not cover this medication so it typically is outsourced from different pharmacies. But anyway, I have been using this medication daily for about 2 weeks and it broke my skin out horribly like never before. Using this product resulted in sometimes painful cystic acne on my cheeks, chin, and side of my forehead. Come to find out that this product contains coconut and soybean oils, which should be a red flag to any dermatologist prescribing this medication to anyone suffering with acne. Would not recommend at all, it definitely worsened my acne and scarring (which was very minimal at time of prescription) so to say I regret using this is a big understatement.Read More Read Less

I am no stranger to acne medication (currently on Retin-A micro, azelaic acid 15% and Onexton). My Dr wanted me to try this in place of Onexton just to see how I'd like it and unfortunately, it made me purge horribly and break out in cystic acne on both of my cheeks. Like the big awful red nodules. I don't know why there is coconut oil in this product, which is very well known to be highly comedogenic. I don't think I can hang in there much longer if I am going to keep breaking out like this and have scarring which will need additional treatment. Read More Read Less

Great topical product

It's incredible. Very happy with it.

HOLY CRAP! I love this stuff! It feels so nice on my skin. It helped most with the noticeable red bumps and regular acne in general. The whiteheads that I used to get on my jawline have diminished and any remaining ones are smaller, so I'm less prone to noticing/picking them.

Really helped with getting rid of disgusting pimples. This stuff works!

Amzeeq helped to clear up my acne and my skin texture has not been this soft and clear in years. The only issue with it is that amzeeq leaves your face looking very yellow. The yellow stains are hard to get out of clothes and bed sheets. Overall, clear skin for some stained sheets is a fair trade.

My 14 year old daughter loves Amzeeq, especially because it does not burn her skin. It has cleared up some very stubborn acne. The improvement has been dramatic.

Overall I'm happy with this product. Effectiveness: It does the job of clearing the lesions. Ease of use: It's easy, like using shaving cream or lotion. Satisfaction: I have no complaints.

My skin is oily in the usual oily spots, otherwise kinda normal. I get mild cystic acne, whiteheads, and papules typically, with tiny blackheads in every pore on my nose. I pick at my skin which always made it look worse. My derm prescribed me Amzeeq (apply every morning) and Epiduo (apply 3 times a week at night). I was super excited to try the Amzeeq so I jumped right into using it, while I eased into using Epiduo since my skin is so sensitive. I started seeing results super quickly which is why I attribute the success with the Amzeeq. I've ended up only using the Epiduo as needed. HOLY CRAP! I love this stuff! It feels so nice on my skin. The foam has soybean and coconut oils that make it feel so smooth and soft. I'm so happy it's a topical foam so I can use this as much as I want as opposed to the time limit on the pill. It helped most with the noticeable red bumps and regular acne in general. I don't see much difference with the blackheads on my nose, but they weren't much of a problem to begin with. The only breakouts I've had since seeing my derm have occurred right before I've gotten my period, and those breakouts have only been one or two big irritated bumps. My acne/rosacea cleared up almost immediately with this product. I use it only at night because of the color/staining issue. That really hasn’t been a big problem. The smell is odd, but not strong. I like the feel of it on my face - moisturizer but. It overly greasy. I only wish it wasn’t yellow.

Doctor prescribed as alternative to antibiotic pill. Works great.
