Do Not Use This Stuff Urinary Tract Infection - Severe Dry Eyes - Severe Dizzy Drowsiness - Severe Low Energy

I have been taking this for years for overactive bladder. It works wonderful allows me to get out of the car, get my purse etc. out of the car and get into the house with out an accident. Now my insurance co-pay is up to $150.00 for 3 months . I have to start to look for an alternative medication. Lets hope I can find one. Lets Hope I can find some thing.

From the day I started on this med my urine has had a very strong amonia smell. This has not happened before this med. Has anyone had this side effect?

I was prescribed detrol for my over active bladder. my pharmacist told me that medicare didnot view this as a drug and would not honor the prescription.

After four months of taking this medication, I still have the same symptoms for which it was prescribed: frequent urination; urine leakage; needing to urinate immediately.

I still leak especially at night, or when I have to pick something up from the floor.

what could cause an extreme burning when u urinate once in awhile only been on it 2 wks. has really helped so far.

I have been on detrol for approx. 4 months and while it does help leakage problems...side effects are sometimes hard to deal with. Dry eye/aching eyes...particularly bad at night when driving. Also have dry mouth, which is tolerable. Some problems with exhaustion and have noticed lately that my hair is falling out quite substantially, particularly when washed and dryed...does anyone else have this side effect. I have always had very thick, healthy hair...never had much hairloss at all until about 3 weeks into the detrol. Read More Read Less

I am a diabetic. Immediately after taking this medication (3 or 4 days)my blood sugar went sky high.

it caused me to have heart arrythmia

I am on detrol la 4 mg. 2 years later I am still experiencing leakage. Any ideas that will help me.

Detrol stopped the 'accidents' immediately, but had a problem with rapid heartbeat for a week. Now that has gone away. Before Detrol, I was miserale getting up every two hours at night, using depends and all kinds of pads, but still wet myself several times a night and sometimes during the day.

Taken Detrol for years - worked initially - over last few years gradually symptoms worsened. Without it, lots of incontinence issues - but tired of dealing with it, will probalby opt for the surgery

I has been easy to used, the dosage may not be ok, I yet fill as though I need to go, even though I don't need to go. No leeking.

I have been on this medication for about 3 weeks now and am very satisfied with it. It has stopped the "got to go right now" feeling and leakiness. The only 2 side effects I have with it is being very sleepy after taking it, I have conquered that by making sure that I keep moving after I take it. The other is the dry mouth. I just have been chewing more gum and drinking more. Hoping that it continues to be so effective and that there are no other long term side effects.

been taking for 8 days now. helped with leakage on sagging bladder but had new issues start such as leaking when i stand up after sitting for few minutes..side effects are very annoying: headaches, VERY tired no strength at all, and i have noticed some swelling in legs and feet which im gonna discuss with my dr..has anyone else had trouble with swelling as this wasnt mentioned in side effects
