Had MRI done due to pain in rhomboid muscle/lower left neck area thinking I simply had Arthritis, but MRI didn't show it? Proceeded with physical therapy for 6 weeks to no avail! Pain so unbearable at times, would wake me out of sleep, and forget playing golf! This medication has relieved 85% of the pain, and no more waking issues. This medication has NEVER upset my stomach as long as its taken at the same time everyday with a meal, usually breakfast and dinner. Give it a chance to work for you, it took about 4-6 days before I could tell a difference when I first started taking it. Taking 400mg/twice daily.Read More Read Less

Been on Etodolac for a few years and works well to keep the inflammation down. It takes a day or two for me to know I did not take it regularly. I take 400 mg 2 times a day and it makes life alot easier to get around. I also take pain medication but this keeps swelling to a minimum.

I have osteo-arthritis and have had my lower spine fused twice, my neck fused once and my knee worked on for a tumor and torn meniscus. I still have OA in my knees, hands & spine, as well as osteoporosis & scoliosis. I am on MANY medications for several medical issues, but the Etodolac consistently relieves the joint pain.

I have been on this Med for 15 yrs. I First started on it when I tore my rotator cuff. Then I needed a hip replacement so kept taking it. Then my other hip went and continued taking it. At first was taking 300 mg 3x a day. Now two yrs out from my last hip operation I am down to (1) 300mg once a day for arthritus. It has worked very well for me with no side effects. Love it. I take it after breakfast every morning once a day. I am 70 yrs old and feel great using Etodolac.

I had extreme hip pain for years! Tried aspirin and Ibuprofen; helped in short term. Getting to the point where I could barely walk. Etodolac was a miracle. Took for 2 weeks straight four months ago and have not had to take again -yet. Relieved 95% of the pain. No bad side effects for me. Thank you, Doctor!

Had several side effects including weight gain, bleeding under skin, swollen ankles and feet, nausea, and others. It was not worth the side effects for the pain relief.

I have taken etodolac for years and have found it to an effective med most of the time. I am now getting older and it may be time for a stronger med. Etodolac only relieves the swelling and does nothing for the condition or the remediation of the condition. It has been a good entry level drug.

I have taken this off and on when I have had lower back pain. It has always worked very well for me as far as getting rid of any pain and especially for inflammation. It usually only takes about 2 pills and 24 hrs to work and I feel as good as new. Have never experienced any bad side effects over the past 2 years, maybe because I have never had to take more than 2 days worth of the medication.

I suffer pain from T-9,10,11 compressed broken back x 37 yrs; didn't heal right. Tried dozens of drugs; exp.severe side effects & only morphine helped until Etodolac. Minor headache/nervous/nausea side effects are tollerable. Doing better now THANK GOD. Am praying it continues to help and side effects go away soon.

Shoulder tendons inflamed from exercising activities to the point of causing sleeping issues. Have stopped all activities 2 weeks prior to see doctor. After two months on medication including 2 week supply of steroid and cortasoid shot in the bursa, medication may have helped lessen the pain and symptoms but has not eliminated it. Appears it will be a time issue for me to recover. I am a bit envious but glad for those who are pain free.

Actually I use for Osteoarthritis but didn't have the option to select. It works great for me; but although is has many side effects I haven't experienced any. I am diabetic. I take the Etodolac for 14 days then go 1 month without it due to not wanting any liver problems...but believe me when I'm without it I'm in constant pain and can't wait to start taking again. Wish they could make without so many side effects...but it really works. I also have back problems and in constant back pain. When I take Entodolac I feel great, wish I could take all the time!Read More Read Less
