I switched to this medicine after another birth control medication. This birth control was great for the first three months. Then I started getting migraines. Its almost like my body retains way to much water now. I have not changed my diet but I see no need to, considering I eat decently healthy. Ive gained quite a bit of weight. I now have stretch marks. I notice I am way more irritable then nor...

I have been on this for almost a year and it has been great. The only complain I have is that it makes it very difficult for me to lose weight, though it does not make me gain weight. No mood swings, no head aches or nausea. Short periods.

I got switched to this birth control. When I started taking it, I would get abnormal heart beats, very nauseated and extremely restless. I stopped taking it for a couple months. I took one last night and I couldn't get any sleep. I have been feeling completely nauseated and my arms were swelling and tingling. Everybody is different, but just be aware of the possible side effects before you start this drug.

I was on microgestin for maybe five years. I switched because I wanted lighter periods. I have been on nortel for a month, the first 3 weeks was fine but when I started the period pills I got horrible head aches which I have never had with or without birth control in my life. I'm 21. I only bled for one day which was nice but the headaches have not gone away and I am not even on the period pills anymore.. The doctor said to wait maybe three months before really deciding to switch but the headaches are bad and I hate having to wake up and take tylenol's everyday. I don't know that they really affect my mood I just wish the pain in my head would go away. Read More Read Less

I broke out in a rash all over my arms and legs a few days after starting this medication. It didn't itch, but there were small raised bumps everywhere. Went to a doctor and was told it was probably the new medication so I stopped taking it and the rash went away.

Love this pill, works great and have light periods that last 4-5 days, nothing like my old ones, no longer wear contacts because of my eyes being dry which can be a side effect but Im not sure if ill change because I really like this one.

I have been on this bc pill (continuous therapy) for the treatment of Endometriosis for 13 years now & I have no complaints what so ever. Since I am on continuous therapy I don't take any placebos, I finish a 21 day pack & go straight to the next 21 day pack, no 7 day break. I have only had 2 very light periods in the last 13 years, once due to extreme stress & the other due to illness & not being able to keep my pills down. I have not had any problems with acne nor nausea. Definitely would recommend this birth control for treatment of endometriosis.Read More Read Less

I have been on this for two weeks now and I get horrible cramps with lots of spotting and also acne and bloating. I have been on previous birth controls before and aside from bloating I have never experienced any of these other symptoms.

I have little to no libido at all! Before, my boyfriend couldn't keep me off of him! I'm extremely moody and I am having stomach issues (bloating, cramping, etc). My breakthrough blessing lasts for weeks. I've been on the drug for five months.

Second month, thought I'd give it another go. I have always had bad mood swings with birth control, but this leaves me gray and depressed. Abnormally low libido, painful periods and tummy problems altogether, not for me.
