This drug further aggravated the problem. Check Wikipeida, this product is used in manufacturing chewing gum, it gathers small bubbles into one big bubble for removal. This is exactly what happened in my stomach, one large bubble caused tummy aches. Please find the cause of what's causing the gas first instead of self treatments. My Gastrologist found a serious problem in my lower part of stomach....

This medicine is rarely helpful. It does not help me to get rid of my bloating or internal gas problems. I suck on Spearmint Peppermints & it works much better.

I had been having TERRIBLE gas issues (so much so that I would release gas bubbles with each step!) and after the first dose, my GI tract settled down and no more embarassment at church or anywhere else for that matter!

After a severe case of bronchitis, I developed bronchial spasms at night and had to sleep in sitting position. Started taking simethicone chewables and it has alleviated the problem all together. I have also started eating lighter, mostly soups and salads, however the simethicone is the only thing that stopped the bronchial spasms. My only concern is how long can I keep taking it, and are there any side effects.

I take this to relieve upper abdominal pressure due to gas. In my opinion, it works very well and provides relief.

I have used this OTC med PRN for years. It acts very quickly. I prefer the gelcap form. It relieves gas and bloating caused by foods, other medications and surgeries. The liguid infant form relieves colic. I am a RN. I think using it to often may cause loose stools although this drug is not known to have any side effects.

I had an overnight stomach virus that caused sever stomach crampiness. I had trouble eating & had discomfort all day. After taking Gas-X, it almost immediately relieved the pressure & discomfort.
