made my stomach hurt cramping alot did not help my gastroparesis

I had worst stomach and chest pain ever.stay away from this poison.

I took ONE dose of this antibiotic (Z-pack) and within hours started having watery diarrhea which has persisted for more than 48 hours. I never took a second dose. Feel run down and tired due to constant diarrhea. I will never take this antibiotic again. I hope I never need to have an antibiotic because the side effects are unbearable.

I was prescribed this for an ingrown toenail I had to get cut out. I'm deathly allergic to penicillin so I was told to take this. A few hours later my heart was pounding, I was so sick in the stomach and felt so nervous. My primary care doctor gave me a different antibiotic to take. Would not recommend this one at all! Thought I was going to die.

I cannot take most antibiotics without stomach upset. I hate to take a pill to take a pill but am having to rely on Prilosec to take this medication along with Bactrim.

I was given this medicine for strep throat. Since the first dose I have been having stomach cramps, chest pain and severe nauseau....I stopped taking the medicine because i sould not handle the stomach issues......

I have taken this for a rash, it seemed to make the rash worse,spread on legs at a scary pace, I did not feel sick at all, I only took for 3days 500mg. (twice a day) morning and night

i was bitten by a spider right above my ankle on leg and let started turning purple and pus was coming out, took 250 mg 3 times a day and used hydrocortisone on area which was about 3 by 5 inches infected, after last dose and using the hydrocortisone sympton is nearly gone will continue to use hrdrocortisone and if needed i will see doctor if it doesnt clear up completely, i think i will have some scar tissue discoloration because i waited 2 months before telling doctor, but the medicine has worked really well so far, i can only recommend for problem like i had, it worksRead More Read Less

Prescribed for tooth abscess.Might do its job; but, I will never know. I have been sick since pill 3 of 40. I want to vomit just to get this stuff out of my system. I called the DDS and pharmacy this morning, ( no recall as yet ) because I can not take any more runs to the bathroom, gas, chest pains and upset stomach.

I took this for a tooth abscess, I immediatly stopped taking it after a day and a half. It caused extreme stomach aches and chest pain and burning. Even if I ate with it, it would still hurt really bad! My mom took it for a UTI and she had the same problems. It makes you very sick! I don't reccomend it to anyone for anything! Azithromycin Z-pack works the best as an antibiotic. This Erythromycin stuff is sicking!

My sister-in-law took this for an ear infection that wasn't going away with other medicines. The day after her first pill she started vomiting. She couldn't keep any food down for a couple days. I do NOT suggest this pill to anyone.

PRESCRIBED AS AN ACNE TREATMENT.IT WORKS BUT IS SLOW IN CLEARING ACNE. NOW ON MY SECOND MONTH AND AM STARTING TO SEE SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT IN BUMPS. GOOD THING I ONLY HAVE A SEASONAL BREAKOUT.

Prescribed as treatment for acne. After 2 weeks I only see mild improvement. After reading reviews on board, I am very fortunate to not have had any reactions to the drug.

I have been taking this Med. for about 2 years for sever stomach pain but I still have the pain just not as sever. I take it at each meal 200MG/MI any help would be great. I felt as tho this 2 years was to long to take it.

Gave me terrible headaches, felt bloaty and unexpected gas.

I was given this for acne (i dont ask anymore) and it worked, but like everyone else i had headaches and was just all around sick. I even stayed home from work a few days because it just didnt feel good. i took it for 2 weeks and still didnt get us to it. i no long us it.

I was given this medication as a precaution to avoid an infection from a tooth extraction - I should have known when the pharmacy that I have been using for years didn't carry it. They said it's a "very old" medicine. It took 3 phone calls from my pharmicist to find someone who carried it. I had my tooth pulled 5 days ago & my gums are swollen & obviously infected. I have had stomach cramps and headaches for days. I do not recommend this medication.

I started taking it for a wisdom tooth extraction that became infected. After the first day, I noticed small chest pains. By the end of that day I felt as if I had pulled a muscle in my chest, I went to the ER and got checked out, everything was fine, the doctor told me it wasn't because of the antibiotic. It's now the end of the next day and I can hardly breath or move an inch without excruciating pain in my chest and abdomen. As of right now, I am no longer taking these and am more than a little angry with my dentist/pharmacist for prescribing and selling them to me without any warning of these side effects ( there was no information inside the box either ).Read More Read Less
