Started taking Diclofenac 75 mg EC twice a day for shoulder pain. It not only eliminated my shoulder pain, I no longer have knee pain and even my bunion is less bothersome! After about 3 weeks, I thought I would reduce to once a day and then stop taking it altogether, but the pain in my knees and shoulders quickly returned. I will call my doctor and see if I can get a refill and ask if he shoul...

Doesn't stop the pain at all. Gives me indigestion at night so bad I can't sleep. Makes me constipated. All in all, I don't like this drug and won't take it anymore. I've tried twice and that was enough for me!

Prescribed for severe menstrual cramps, takes about 3.5 hours to alleviate pain, then only lasts for about 3 hours and can only be taken 2x/day. I'd rather take ibuprofen.

It was great and all but killed the pain and after a month I stopped taking it. However, 1 year later (yesterday) I took one and had a reaction... hives, itching and my tongue began to swell. At 47 it was the first measurable [negative] reaction to a medication I have ever had. And wow, what a reaction - No more for me. Your mileage may vary ;)

With the side effects possible with the medication (and other NSAIDS) I cannot believe that Doctors would rather prescribe this over hydrocodone w/asprin (Vicoprofen). I had gone through almost every NSAID with none of them working until my Dr finally prescribed Vicoprofen until I was able to have surgery. I would think the risks of addiction would far outweigh the risks of these high doses of NSAIDS. I felt like a criminal finally asking my Dr for a narcotic pain reliever. It's just sad that we have the ability to adequately relieve pain, but we can't because of the fear of addiction. I'm sorry, but the fear of death is much higher on my list. I recommend trying it, if it doesn't work, please tell your Dr that you're tired of living in pain. Read More Read Less
