Taking for dinus infevtion which I know is chlamydia! Chronic lyme disease patient which no doctor will treat... So I complained of sinus infection which it does cause..it is a cell penetrating antibiotic which is agood thing! Those of you suffering eith diarrhea especially after finished eith dose are now growing candidia and need a Candida probiotic to fix your gut!

I have been taking this medication for 7 days now.I had slight diarrhea at first but that seems to have gone. My biggest issues with this medication is that it has affected my taste, nothing tastes good to me right now. No insomnia or other side effects at this time.

I already suffer with hypoglycemia occasionally and I took this with two bowls of fruit ... Show Full Comment

Friends, I have experienced insomnia with Augmentin and Floxin (two other antibiotics), so when I couldn't sleep with Clarithromycin I knew immediately what was going on. The PA who prescribed it though did not believe that an antibiotic could cause insomnia. So there you are: I am still taking it now on day 6 of 10. Regarding other side effects, I have tinnitus anyway so not worried really ... Show Full Comment
