Since taking this medication I have had severe diarrhea (explosive diarrhea) if I eat normal quantities of fruits and vegetables, especially tomatoes. I've had numbness and tingling in my hands and tingling in my feet, itching, crawling skin feeling, backache, weight gain, and repeated bouts of gout. I never had problems with any of these things before taking this medication. I've been on it fo...

my only objection would be, I was not educated on this drug with an IED. I ran out of this medication (3 dozes;2 per day 3.125mg). My heart rate had gone up (due to a bike ride)triggering my IED. I was hit a total of 8 times, 6 of which was 800 volts. I was scared to death which increased my heart rate. Needless to say I went to the hospital. other than not being educated the drug has worked very well.

Had mild heart attack 6/30/09. This medication was the answer to helping my HBP meds keep my BP lowered. No side effects. Slower heart rate has been rewarding. Very pleased with this medication.

I switched from Propanolol to Carvedilol (3.125 mg a day) to help control my PAT which means "an onset of rapid heart beating." I stopped talking the medicine a day ago because I feel that there is no helping to my condition with any of these medicines. While on the medication however, extreme tiredness occurred, shortness of breath, chest pain (the kind where it feels like someone sucker-punched you), I don't know if it contributed to a raise in my heart rate because I already have that problem, I have had migraines everyday since I started the medicine, and a numb/pain sensation in my arms, hands and legs. Maybe it just doesn't react well with me because I was only taking 3.125 mg a day whereas others can take up to 50 mg.Read More Read Less

Taking to control my HBP and have been on 25mg X 2 per day for 1 month. Huge weight gain from 219 lbs to 249 lbs plus swelling in ankles/hands/legs. Such extreme swelling it's difficult to walk.

Took this for approximently one month. Gave me "scalp ache" from bp dropping quickly. Was always tired and foggy. One day my bp jumped to 179/85, dropped sugar to 58. Am now on Enalapril, hope it works and I do not have the coughing as with Lisinopril.
