I had high hopes for this but after 3 or 4 weeks of taking it, I developed what I think is an allergic reaction similar to what I've experienced in the past from contrast dye and certain meds. It may be the carmine. The reaction is an allover prickly / itchy feeling in my entire body. I cannot wear most of my clothes and am very uncomfortable. Stopped taking this 5 days ago so am waiting to see.

I also have broken out with a red neck and face! I stopped two days ago and it is still there. Don't take it.

I took Natures Bounty product. I took it in hopes to help my nails. They are weak, peel and split. After a few weeks of taking the recommended dosage, the only thing that I got was a horribly broken out face. Red and dry patches all over. I stopped taking it yesterday and hopes that I am clear by the holidays. I didn't notice a change in my hair or nails. It apprears I need to find another way to cure my peeling nails. I wouldn't recommend this product.

I have been using this vitamin for 2 months and noticed no difference. I also noticed break outs on my face as well.. I use to take the Doterra vitamin pack and I think I will be going back to that.. I so far havent read any good reviews on this item yet.

I started taking these vitamins about 2 weeks ago, I am not sure how well they are working but I have noticed that I am starting to loose a lot more hair than i previously have. I'm getting worried but I am going to keep taking them and see if it is just the dead hair falling out or if I need to stop taking them.

Hair, Skin, Nails by Nature's Bounty WAS an amazing product. The company changed the product from a tablet to a capsule. The capsule is made with soy. I initially didn't realize the formula was changed. Soy is grouped with gluten and dairy as one of the top three additives causing problems. Why would a vitamin company need to reformulate the product to include this kind of additive?

I am not sure if it was actually the medication or not but since I've been taking the vitamins I have been a lot more emotional. I cried for at least 3 hours and didn't know why.

I have been taking these pills for about 2 months and at first they worked wonders for me. My hair was growing fast and so were my nails. But after the two months I noticed that my hair was falling out a lot, it got to the point that even if I touched it it would fall... so I stopped the medication. It's been about 1 month since I've been off of it and my hair is still falling out. However, I would still recommend it if you are planing on using it for a month only.

Hair and nails grow... but it causes skin to break out on the face and shoulders.. My face has always been clear and pimple free, taking Blackmores Hair, skin & Nails almost gave me acne.. I stopped taking the vitamin after 4-5 weeks, and my face cleared up.. its not for everyone!!!

I started using the vitamins to grow out a bad hair cut. Overall, my hair and nails are growing very fast, but my skin is breaking out like no other! I'm definitely looking for an alternative. I've read alot of places that multivitamins have an initial break out, so let's hope it goes away.

i havent seen much results yet bt i just thats just cause ive bn takin them 4 almost a week.Hw long does it take the pills to work?

I've been taking this vitamin for about 3 weeks to help repair my hair from destroying it with hair color as well as to help my nails grow stronger. I do think the vitamin works as my hair is shiny and more managable and my nails have stopped breaking, but I am now experiencing severe constipation and I know it's a direct result of the vitamin. Once I feel better I will probably take the vitamin every few days or so because I do believe it works and hopefully I will not get constipated again.

Well, my hair was very gross feeling and recently I received a haircut from a friend that didn't work out at all. I heard about these vitamins and decided to try it for myself. My hair has been feeling smooth for the two days I first started using these vitamins. I also noticed that my hair(and nails) were growing fast too, fixing my bad haircut problem. And on top of it all, it increased the strength of my hair; making it harder for my hair to fall off when i brush it and stuff. I'm really satisfied with this product and will continue using it when my hair isn't at it healthiest. (: Although, the vitamins were a bit big to swallow; but it was worth it.Read More Read Less
