This has worked like a miracle on my migraines. I seldom need more than one tablet to shut them down for the day.

Side effects are unpleasant. You will get drowsy and it will end up taking up your whole day.

had severe headaches, nothing worked but this.however after a few years i was taking them daily, headaches or not. now trying to wean myself off using celexa . also provides suicidal tendencies stifles emotions. dont recommend this to addictive personalities.

It works great for me. I had a recent aneurysm surgery and frequently get headaches, its a side effect. I take half of a tablet and am good for the day.

I have been given this medication for the last 22 years for tension/migraine headaches and it has worked for me well over the years. I find it as no surprise that my tolerance has gone way up. When I was 20, one pill would knock out a migraine. Now it takes about 3 to 4. This drug will stop headaches brought on by tension but for a full blown migraine with nausia...good luck trying to keep one down. With that said, in my option, opiates are not a great thing to use as a "preventative" to head off tension headaches. As others have posted here, this drug can be very addictive. Not trying to be preachy here but please watch yourself with this particular drug as some inviduals who take this medication may have a much faster tolerance buildup than I did.Read More Read Less

I can't take this one and work because of the Barbituate, so the ease of use is a little tricky. Caffeine makes you a little anxious can cause jitters and hand shakes. The medication will work for a mild-moderate migraine, but not on severe one.

I take one 500mG Tylenol and 1/2 dose of this product and it does the trick. I used the codene version also and it works well too for the type of headaches. I Think this version works just as well without the codene and its side effects.

Step away from this drug. As a long time user, prescribed for tension headaches & rightly so. Problem is, drug is addictive. Main issue is the tylenol in each dose. I have been diagnosed with Post Tramatic Stress, after a long search. I was alway diagnosed with drepression. By the time the mere addition of Buspar (I know!) I was already fully addicted to butalbital. Don't get comfortable with this drug. It hits my tension headaches perfectly, but doesn't touch pain like menstral cramps. So, unless you want to really stress your liver, you must "man up" for the pain. Drinking any alcohol immediately elevates this drug. You won't over due it more that a time or two, because it is the type of sick that the only time you can possibly move is to get up to puke. Withdrawl is painful. I have 3 experiences and will have a 4th someday soon I hope. Seizures (trust me) are real and come at a moments...no a seconds notice. Just don't use this one, wish I never had/have/do.Read More Read Less

I have frequent migraine headaches related to PTSD, sometimes they are so bad my joints lock up and I can't move for days at a time. When I first started on this med it worked if I took it right at the onset. However, it seems I have developed a tolerance. I don't want to increase my dosage or add another one on top of this as my doctor has done for my insomnia. I can't relax, I can't sleep and I can't get clear of the pain, now I have a new symptom, muscle spasms. I can't tell what is medication side effect and actual ailment but I am afraid to stop taking the pills. Too much information for this posting, but I have just taken my third one of these things but it is just not working - my head feels like it is going to cave in on itself.Read More Read Less

Great for tention in my neck that brings on a migraine. It also is pretty effective on a full blown migraine. It does take two doses though to relieve the bad migraines.

I have recently been prescribed this medication for my migraine headaches. For anyone who suffers from migraines know these are not just a typical headache. This medication is one that I can take and get relief from the pounding felt at onset. I rarely have to take more than 2 doses at a time to get full relief. Thank you.

When extra strenth Tylonal does not work this takes away the headache/migrane with in 2 hours. I am alergic to Asprin so this is my answer to comfort.

I took imitrex for years until it caused a heart condition. I now take this and even though it does cause side effects it does knock the headache quickly.

Doesn't even make a dent in my headaches. The only way I see any results is if I take 4 a day and it doesn't get rid of my headaches entirely.

I don't know that will help if it has caffeine in it. Because I get addited to caffeine. If I go to stop it I wont't know if the headache is from tension or caffeine withdrawal.
