Every birth control pill is different. Seriously. I have been on 3 different types of birth control pills and all three gave me different reactions. Everyone reacts differently to each different pill. I have researched horror stories on every pill that I've ever been on, and each time it's the same, "OH IT'S POISON!". Blah, blah, blah. This was really frustrating for me, as a woman, to try t...

This drug is horrible, i advise ANYONE to steer clear of this Birth Control, it has given me DISFIGURING acne on my shoulders, chest, back and face. I was extremely depressed on the pill. I just wanted to die from the acne. I contimplated suicide. Im off of the drug now, but obviously im left with the horrible acne, which i now think is getting worse from having to adjust back to my regular hormon...

I switched to Alesse after being on the patch for almost a year. I developed terrible side effects on the patch, but they all went away when I started taking Aleese. It's no fun taking a pill every day but not having any side effects is great.

This gave me the WORST mood swings. One minute I'd be laughing and then 30 seconds later I'd be bawling my eyes out. It also made me gain weight like crazy. I still had cramping and heavy periods. The only good thing was it made my boobs jump up 2 cup sizes.

I've been using these pills for 7 years now, including the generic because I had the most terrible cramps. I chose this brand because it stated I wouldn't have weight gain or acne, which was true. My cramps are significantly better and my periods are regular. I also have not gotten pregnant while using them.

Nothing went right with this OC. It gave me constant headaches, was chronically fatigued, depressed to the point of almost suicidal, constant vaginal bleeding while on the active pills and did not get rid of cramps. After 1 month I was taken off.

I'm a very small person who has always had trouble taking hormones. I need them, however, for regulation. This pill has made such a difference!! If you small females are about to give up on BCPs then try this one first!

I took it for two weeks only. The only side effect that I had was dark spots on my face. I think it was a good pill

I had terrible morning sickness while taking this medication. I also had horrible mood swings and wanted to smother my husband in his sleep. I started to REALLY not want to take it to the point of crying every night when it was dosing time. Awful!

I got pregnant with it twice, and once while I was nursing. No barrier protection, not effective even with daily dose. Not recommended for the use of birth control.

I have been on constant supression (no periods) using both Alesse and the generic form for 6 years and it has made my life 100% better due to horrible period issues.
