This has been a wonder drug - but the patch does make my skin itchy...concerned about prolonged use.

It was like a miracle. I had previously used Gelnique (gel to rub on). But then I realized after 6 days that I was gaining weight and holding water. Rings were very tight. I went back to Gelnique which I can regulate, though it is not as perfectly effective.

I am getting a good night's sleep and I do not have to go the every bathroom in every store that I shop in anymore.

It's only been 3 days, but I had immediate results. I normally go thru 2 pads in an 8 - 5 workday, but I haven't needed to change it all day. I hope to be pad-free soon! No side effects!

Love it! I was on Detrol LA in the past and it made me constipated & my eyes were dry. No side effects with Oxytrol so far. I tested it with the 2 worst triggers, Beer & lime. It passed with flying colors!

did not do a thing for me.. used it for 4 days, and when I took it off, it left me with this huge red, itchy spot on my stomach...that I still have after 7 days

Works well. Except found that I slept off and on for 4 days. Cut patch in half and may have to use only a quarter of a patch from now on. Since I weigh only 85 pounds a full patch has too much medication in it for me.

Prior to using this patch, my overactive bladder was getting worse,it was tense,uncomfortable and at times painful. I've used Oxytrol for a month and half, I'm amazed at the improvement. I'm more comfortable and feeling confident enough to not need a bathroom every 10 minutes.... My bladder will overflow if I don't empty it on a schedule.

This is a WONDER patch for me! No more need of wearing Depend under garments! However, I have contracted a Urinary Tracey Infection which is also treatable. So glad that this drug is OTC! Small investment to stop having to go all the time!

Used two patches and it didn't effect the frequency of urination. Patch leaves a residue on the skin that is very hard to remove.

I like Oxytrol--it is working for me--but!!! I shower every morning--have only had this box of 14 patches 4 days and have had to use a new one everyday. They wont stay on during shower and so next day took it off--put it back on after---wouldn't stick. Next day removed very carefully--put it back on it's sticky paper--re-applied--stuck a little better but put some tape on it. HOW can these patches last 4 days each???? B,Brown

It doesn't seem to help me. I also had bladder mesh surgery which didn't work. But it does relax me. Funny didn't see total body relaxation listed.

I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis about 2 yrs ago. Previous meds didn't work - dried me out waaay too much. So I've been suffering from embarrassment, having to buy Depends, Poise pads, & keeping an extra change of clothes (esp at work). Yesterday I saw a commercial for this drug & had never heard of it. I wasn't sure if I heard the commercial announcer correctly regarding "OTC" available at Walgreens. I went to my local Walgreens the very next day...almost had an accident trying to find it - until my favorite pharmacist told me it had just come in & the guy stocking the shelf was opening the very 1st box! Yea! First person to purchase at $16.99 & used it immediately. It really helped decrease the symptom of OAB a lot (: The first hour I experienced some weird emotional feelings - like tearing up over little things; and today a very mild ab soreness & possible yeast infection (haven't had one in over 15 yrs)...not sure if it's the patch, but I'm keeping a journal just in case. I CAN GO LONGER BETWEEN BATHROOM VISITS AND I FEEL MORE CONFIDENT,I STIL NEED A PAD AT NIGHT. I HAVE ONE COMPLAINT I AM 75 YEARS OLD AND HAVE TROUBLE WITH BALANCE ALREADY AND THIS SEEMS TO MAKE IT WORSE, ONE THING I DO NOT WANT TO DO IS FALL,BUT NOT READY TO GIVE THIS UP.SO I WILL KEEP IT UP BECAUSE I JUST STARTED IT.I NEED A LITTLE MORE TIME.

I tried this medication for overactive bladder. It worked great, I felt much better. I didn't feel like I had to go to the bathroom all the time but it made me so sleepy that I couldn't use it.

Have used for 3 years and sometimes feel like it is not working especially during sleep hours. Still have to go 3/4 times during the night. However, I recently read that certain foods & drinks have an affect on the medication, so I am going to pay more attention and see if it makes a difference.

I'm 62 and have been using the patch for 2 or 3 years. It worked great but now I'm starting to have some incontinence problems again. I'm wondering if the treatment is starting to lose it's effectiveness. I guess I'll have to go back to the urologist.

I have been on this patch for 5 years. I call this my miracle drug. Before I started wearing this patch I couldn't do anything because I was always going. The urges have reduced as well as the visits. I don't think I could live a normal life with out using it.

I wonder if anyone else has experienced headaches since taking this medication. I seem to have developed headaches-some are migraines (which I have a history of)since taking the medication. It does work very as far as stopping my need to urinate frequently.
