This is not a miracle pill but it does work. If you read the instructions you'll be able to open the package with ease and liken all medications you need to consult with your doctor before taking. The patch will not fall off easily if placed on your skin correctly and yes like any foreign object placed on your skin for days you will have a slight redness in the area after removing and if your...

I have frequent urination and urgency, occasionally leaking when I suddenly need to go. This product did nothing for me. I used one box with no benefit, not even less waking at night to go. I have better luck with doing Kagel exercises than I had with this medication.

I was happy with the patch but cannot use. The skin underneath the patch is red, itchy and remains in that condition for two to three weeks. So I have to weigh the discomfort against the help with my bladder control.

The medicine works well. The problem is the patch will NOT stay on. I do not feel it's worth using a patch a day for the price. I'd rather go back to taking elmiron which costs a little more but works. And I don't have to worry about a patch falling off. You take a pill and are done. I thought this would be a good cost effective alternative. It's not.

oxytrol patch worked well for my bladder. I stopped using it after 2 weeks because it stopped my natural ability to have bowel movements. I now have to take stool softeners and laxitives every day. does anyone know what to do to remedy this so that my bowel will work naturally again?

This product was effective immediately, with no rushing to the restroom, or accidents of urination. I would like to continuing using, but the patch causes redness, itchiness and burning to the skin under the patch. This is the only negative I have to report.

HAVE BEEN USING FOR ABOUT TWO MONTHS, HAS HELPED MY OAB PROBLEM ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. HOWEVER, I HAVE HAD UTI AND I FEEL IT IS BECAUSE OF THE OXYTROL, HAVING PROBLEMS WITH TENDERNESS AND PAIN ON OUTER VAGINAL AREA. CAN'T DECIDE WHAT'S WORSE.

I have MS which is notorious for bladder issues. This medication provides enough time to get to bathroom when the nerves are working.

Makes me so happy. It's freedom - I don't have to dress so that Depends or Silouet don't leave an outline - It's given me such freedom -

I have been using the product for one week. While I still need to get up during the night to urinate, I have eliminated one trip per night and I am sleeping longer before I have to get up to go. I also notice that I need to go less frequently during the day.

I was needing to urinate so many times during the day I was getting so I hated to leave the house, at night I got up 4-5 times. Have been using apox. one month and I feel so much better. It has cut down my time spent in the bathroom in half , only twice at night now. I do get drowsy some days, no blurry vision. I have a Drs. appointment next week and I'll see what he says when I tell him I'm using it.

It is difficult to remove the adhesive around the edges of the patch on day 4, but I have found that non-acetone nail polish remover works, but I must scrub against the direction of the adhesive line. The skin stays reddened for a few hours, that's it. RE: heart issues - strangely enough, I had been experiencing heart palpitations for about a year (was going to have to wear a 24 hr heart monitor to check it out) before I started Oxtrol, and these STOPPED within a few days of wearing the patch!

The patch worked great for the OAB, however the skin irritation was such that I can not use it. My skin becomes very red, swollen, sore, itchy, and hard to the touch, and stings under the patch. It takes about 2 to 3 weeks for the redness to go away and then my skin peels, the painfulness, swelling, itching, stinging, and hardness go away with in a week after removing the patch. guess it's back to a urologist for more embarrassment.

The medication works to some degree, especially at night, I have been able to sleep with much less interruptions. However the patch itself tends to curl up and wrinkle and the adhesive tends to get stuck to my clothing and is almost impossible to remove. I've tried a variety of soaps and make up removers and had to scrub so hard that my skin is irritated and sore. I wish they would provide a removing agent that is safe for the skin, or change the formula for the adhesive itself.

this drug slows down the "sensitivity" of the ennervation to lower elimination systems. other drugs made me constipated, Oxytrol does not. my only side effect is being a little thirsty which is easily remedied. to avoid skin irritation upon removal, gently curl the patch back over itself-do NOT lift it. my only concern is long term effects on liver, if any, as Wikipedia says in tests oxybutinin was not present in urine, though it may excrete through the liver.

I bought the patch because they were affordable. I could not longer afford my Enablex. I carefully looked at the products warning on the package and insert. No warnings give for possible heart problems or if you have high blood pressure. Within 8 - 9 hours of applying the patch my heart went into atrial-fibrillation. I spent approximately 9 hours in the ER and was almost rushed into the cath lab for extensive/expensive test. My dr. is certain Oxytrol was the cause. I went into a life-threatening heart arrhythmia within 8 hours of using Oxytrol. There are no warning labels on the packaging or the commercials. But there are very real and serious side-effects associated with this drug. Please contact your dr. or pharmacist before using

I can finally sleep through the night! Prior to using Oxytrol, I was getting up three to four times nightly to void only small amounts. During the daytime, I don't have the near-constant feeling of bladder irritation (I've had that problem for over thirty years due to chronic interstitial cystitis.) I had given up on ever feeling better. Now, I don't worry as much about the location of the nearest bathroom when I'm out and about. What a change!

Thank you to the team that made this possible. You have changed my life, overnight practically. From painful immediate urgency with with significant leaks every day and night to just a gentle bladder fullness and a calm walk to the bathroom. Can't remember feeling this 'normal' in a long time. I will be using for a long time. How about an autoship option? So I don't have to get it from the store.
