this med works along with other medications I take .. most adverse symptoms of feeling tired or zombie is due to, as my cardiologist says, because your body is used to functioning on high blood pressure .. therefore you body goes thru a with draw like stage as it gets used to lower blood pressure .. as your body gets used to running on lower pressure, than most symptoms will disappear .. its scary...

As soon as I started this medication, I had a horrible headache, I couldn't hardly move my head. Then I started running low grade fevers, had body aches, was nauseated and depressed, crying all the time because I could just not function. My doctor finally told me to quit taking this medication and then I found out that one of the side affects is that you have symptoms of lupus. My Mother has lupus and that's exactly what it felt like, that I had lupus. It was horrible and gave me a better understanding of what my Mother has had to go through. I recommend that this drug be given to no one!! I am stilling feeling some side affects but they are getting better.Read More Read Less

I've had the worse headaches ever my blood pressure has rocket sky high my as high as 178/130 joint ache my heartbeat is all over the place. This is my 3rd day taking it, it has made my condition worse I accidently came across this site I only wish I would had seen it sooner I've had every symptom mention I just pray that my BP comes down and I make it through the nite without having a stroke or something this is not a good medicine.

The headaches were so intense, no of my pain medications were able to touch it, I went to the ER and they thought Migranes. It took me a minute to figure out the headaches always started about 1/2 hour after I took my meds.

taking for high bp (along with other meds) and to boost my heartrate. yes I have racing beat at times but no headache. it has caused me to lose weight and i am overweight. i don't think about food like i used to. to me that's a miracle. but leg cramps bothersome

I began taking this med on 5/25/10. 10 mg 3x a day. No change in BP. Changed to 2 10mg 3x a day. No change in BP. This med locked down my kidneys! Before this med I was eliminating well over two quarts of urine during a 24 hour period. After taking this med I only eliminated a pint during a 24 hour period. Shortness of breath, weak muscles, increased pain in joints & constipaton. I refuse to take this med anymore. I do NOT recommend this med!
