My doc prescribed (10mg) this to me after not having periods off/on for over 2 yrs. It has worked great. 1st month I started 16 days after 10th pill, 2nd month 7 days later 3rd month and following months 6 days later. Not only am I now having normal cycles, I have lost weight, headaches have reduced - I feel almost normal again! The first cycle was very heavy but have gotten lighter each month...

I've been on this medication for 4 days now. My doctor prescribed it to start my periods again since my period has been absent for 4 months. I was prescribed a 10 day dose, today I am expieriencing rib pain, stomach cramps and EXTREME tiredness, also a loss of appetite. Can't wait to end this medication! I'm just hoping it brings my periods back and not too heavy.

I was on the depo shot and went off it due to the "bad things"i heard. I have not have a mestrual cylce in over a year since being off the shot. I recently was given progesterone to jumpstart my period. I have finished the 10 day supply and still not sort of period. Thhe first couple days were extreme pain cramps, but other than that no other side effects. My dr. said not to worry that I haven't gotten it yet (im on day 12) Anyone have suggestions??

This is my first time with this medication and I'm waiting for my ten days to be up to see if my period has come. Overall I've never gotten side-effects from a medication like the one's I'm getting now. They are really uncomfortable. Dizziness and a bit of the shakes, I am not enjoying it.

After not having a period for nine months I started bleeding really heavy. I was bleeding for 17 when my doc prescribed this drug, the first two days everything was the same, by the third day it started working. Now in the four day the bleeding completely stopped. Yes, the side effects are bad, but it was worth it for me.

I have been taking this medication since March of this year. I had recently got off of birth control in November of last year, and i had been on it for 3 years. Welp, since Nov. i havent had my period, on my own. And with this med, the first period i had was ok it lasted for a couple of days but then ended. The second time it only lasted 4 days, then(lol) i took it a third time and it lasted 2. Now, i just finished an another supply and nothing has happened. I really dont want to get back on birth control but everyones telling me that i need to so that it can regulate me. But wont that just end the way it is now? I dont really think this med is helping me any. If anyone could help me that would be great. ALL OPINONS CONSIDERED!! lol thanksRead More Read Less

Took a 5 day supply at 10mg per day. I was pregnant and after birth haven't had a period in 2 months so my doc put me on this to start my cycle. Started bleeding on the 8th day and haven't stopped yet (day 16) and it's the heavest I have ever seen or even heard of.

My daughter has taken this med a month ago and still no period. We are scared for her she is only 20 and Dr cant seem to come up with an answer. Now she is having awful discharge that is clear and stretchy. Has anyone else experienced this. She say's no itch or smell. We are taking her to another Dr but are now concerned with this discharge issue.

I have been told to take this med. for 10 days because I could not stop bleeding(not heavy)but very aggravating. Ever since I was on the Depo shot,my body has been a mess(from no bleeding for several months to bleeding for several months).I have been trying to have a second baby for over 5 years (when I got off the Depo shot) and still nothing.I have 2 pills left so I guess I will see what happens. No side effects for me.FYI...try taking the pill at bedtime.

I have been taking Medroxyprogesterone for the past month along with clomid the 1st cycle nothing. Hopefully now that I'm on my 2nd cycle something good happens. I've been trying to get pregnant for the past six months and still nothing but I'm not giving up hope. I haven't had any side effects Though.

I had been spotting for over 4 months when my Doc finally put me on this med. The bleeding stopped almost instantly, but the side effects are HORRIBLE! I have had a major backache since starting the med 2 days ago. I've also been nauseous, tired, shaky and my whole body is like in a fog. Since it fixed my problem (for now), I'm happy with the med, butI would really like to not feel like I got hit by a mack truck!

I have PCOS and I was put on this drug to bring on a period since I have not had one for a year and we are trying to have a baby. The 1st round had me pretty emotional and I had heavy bleeding 10 days after I stopped taking it. The 2nd round is making me a little nauseated. Both times I have become very dehydrated and had burning while I used the bathroom due to electrolytes in my urine. Overall, It is doing what its supposed to and if it gives us a child it will be worth it.

I am stil in the first week of this med, so I don't know if it will work for me, the dr put me on it to cause a period so I can try and get pregnant. I am curious as to how well this med worked at getting a period started, and how long it took to start one? I am only supposed to take the med for 7 days, then wait for a period. And, when it does start, how long will it last? Also, I am getting some very itchy skin on my thighs, mostly the outside, and on my lower legs around my knees. The skin isn't dry, and I am getting some splotchy pink spots where the itching is, and there are some bumps scattered in the spot. Normal for anyone else?Read More Read Less
