I have Degenerative Disc Disease in my neck which causes severe pain and immobility. I have had 3 Kenalog shots about 6 months apart to relax the muscles and each time I have had immediate relief. No side effects. I will continue to get these injections in coordination with seeing my chiropractor, my acupuncturist and massage therapist for pain relief from this chronic debilitation condition. I was given the shot in my backside.

I had my ears pierced causing trauma to both ears and forming keloids. To get them removed, I saw an ENT. She started off with the injections to make them more pliable to remove. That worked, and I had them surgically removed. After my surgery, we continued with the injections but I stopped getting my monthly periods to only having them once every few months. (I am not on any birth control.) When I expressed this to doctors, no one was wise enough to look up or make the connection that THIS was the reason. I stopped that treatment and they grew back. I am now going to a plastic surgeon to get them removed once again (no injections planned). It was at the plastic surgeon's office that I was told injections should only last for 3 months after a removal surgery. The ENT never notified me of that, and I in fact went for another year after the initial surgery. Have severe allergies/sinus along with seasonal dizziness. The shot does help some, but still need my nose spray and allergy pills everyday. This is the only thing my dr stumbled onto that helps my dizziness, so I am very grateful to not have to suffer everyday.

I have not felt well since having this injection.Stomach problems.skin growths,arthritis worse.

For the first time in a week, I didn't have to try and sleep sitting upright due to constant coughing. This drug didn't stop the coughing but it concentrated it into episodes that occurred every four hours or so. Today I can sit at my desk and due way overdue deskwork.

My doctor gave me this after many horrible days of suffering of poison oak. I started to clear up the very same day and the next day my poison oak was dry.

Started using it for seasonal allergies - was a miracle cure at first. Then thin skin, chronic trouble sleeping, osteoporosis, hemorrhage of blood under skin, impaired healing, numbness and tingling in legs, thin fragile skin, small reddish pin points on skin. My skin breaks open and bleeds with the slightest knick. Terrible drug.

I suffered from seasonal allergies for more than a decade. This injection has been magic for causing my symptoms to all but disappear.

I currently got a shot od the kenalog shot and that was Monday last night I felt like shortness of breath and could not sleep . why is that. I have really bad allergies and that's why that I got the shot thinking it would help

I have had extreme success with this injection for seasonal allergies that have progressively worsened over the years and asthma due to allergies. Symptoms completely diminish after this injection. I have never had any success that mimics this injection with any oral meds. It has literally given me back quality of life during allergy season. I have no side effects.

I have such hip discomfort associated with psoriatic arthritis. I have had 2 injections and the relief I finally have from the inflammation is fantastic. I hope it continues to be as helpful as it is now.

I have had Eczema my whole life. I have been on so many topical steroid creams and at time prednisone. Along with Eczema I have allergies to pretty much everything from food, to animals and plants. I started seeing dermatologist at geisinger medical center and started to receive Kenalog injection which has helped tremendously in keeping my skin and allergies under control. I no longer have skin discoloration from scratching, because I don't itch anymore. I don's have blisters or raised red rashes or bleeding because I've scratched myself raw. I have psoriasis and allergies and asthma. For a month or more my allergies had flared and I was coughing and hacking up nasty stuff every day. I mentioned it to my doctor and she suggested a Kenalog shot! Wow, what a difference. Skin is better, not hacking, skin is much improved too. The only negative is that I am not sleeping well, but it's a small price to pay.

I have suffered miserably with allergies for years. The Kenelog shot has helped me so much, I feel normal again, and my eyes and nose aren't swollen anymore! There were times when I couldn't go out in public because I looked so bad. I have gotten a small indentation from getting this medication for an elbow injury, but I don't mind. It's more than worth it! I haven't had any of the dramatic side effects some of the others have mentioned, but I'm in excellent health so maybe that makes a difference. vomiting due to sinus drainage, fluid on eardrum. Ears were ringing, swooshing in my head, dizzy. Felt much better. Never have had issues with short term steriod use.

Kenalog works very well for people that really need it. The provider I work with uses the medication a lot for different symptoms and we have not had any complaints about the medication. For those of you that experienced muscle breakdown at the injection site whom ever gave it to you did not give the shot correctly. This medication needs to be injected deep in a large muscle to reduce breakdown. If you don't trust the person giving the injection don't let them give it to you

I have a mild case of Plaque Psoriasis. Local injections completely clear the skin flaking. The results last about 4-6 months. I've been undergoing this therapy for 3 years. It's awesome.
