Nicole Hollimon joined WebMD in 2019. As a senior health editor, her topics of focus and interest include depression, schizophrenia and other mental health issues, sleep disorders, and disparities in health care. Two decades of editorial experience helps her shape words and information to engage WebMD’s diverse audiences.
A graduate of Winthrop University in South Carolina, Hollimon previously covered a variety of topics for local newspapers and magazines in Georgia. It was her stint as a communications manager for the Georgia Department of Public Health that sparked an interest in health journalism.
Hollimon grew up in metro Atlanta, which is still her home. Outside of work, she enjoys food and music festivals, baking, and deep belly laughs.
