Track My Meds

Are your meds easing symptoms as expected? In your Journal, check each medicine (and dosage) you take. Do this each time you take meds -- OTC or prescription -- throughout the day. Look back over your notes to see what trends you spot.

Call your doctor if symptoms get worse or keep you from sleeping, or if treatment isn't working.

Prompt: Are meds working?

CTA: Find out if your meds are helping.

Track Everything

Treating your symptoms isn't all about medication. Your treatment can include rest, ice or heat, exercise, relaxation, and more. Track it all. Each time you update a symptom in your Journal, also update what you do to ease it. Take your Pain Control Report to review with your doctor to gain advice and confidence about your pain and symptom management.

Prompt: Tried it?

CTA: Note anything you try to ease symptoms.

Track Old Symptoms

You've been here before. You've had this symptom in the past. Instead of getting discouraged, see if you can figure out whether something triggered it.

Use Notes to record where you are, what you're doing, and any treatment you've recently tried. Looking back, you can see what helped ease it before. And you can explore if there is a different approach to try.

Prompt: Symptoms back?

CTA: Compare triggers and treatment.
