Using cassia cinnamon to manage blood sugar for weight loss. Keeps me smooth all day, I don't get hungry and don't feel the need to snack. Very effective for me, I've lost 44 pounds so far.

Male, 65 had type II Diabetes for 8 years on Metformin & Glipizide - started taking 500mg capsules of cinnamon and saw my daily fasting blood sugar count drop below 100 for the first time since being diagnosed. Dropped the Metformin from 1500mg/day to 1000mg/day and saw my a1c drop from 8 to 6.6 Now upping the cinnamon to 500mg twice daily and stopping the Glipizide!

I started using this treatment when my glucose levels were getting close to diabetic levels. Since using the cinnamon tablets my glucose levels are in the normal range.

I used 1-2 tsp. Cinnamon and 10 glasses of water daily to get rid of a UTI. I caught the condition in its earliest stages. The condition improved rapidly - In 1-3 days, urine was clear and pain disappeared.

I had a lowered white blood count from taking a diuretic for blood pressure, and was looking for something to give my immune system a good boost. My secretary recommended Cinnamon, so I started eating some with breakfast. My wife mentioned this antiviral called Gene-Eden she had found online, so I looked it up. A broad-range antiviral, so I gave it a try. Feel much better on it, and two months in a blood test at my doctor said my white blood cell count was back to normal. Good stuff, recommend it highly.Read More Read Less

Diabetic type II about 25 yrs. Was on Lantus 15u. plus Metaformin and Prandin.Miserable time with erratic blood sugars. Lows particularly. Decided to try cinnamon. About 1/2 teaspoon with am coffee. Gave up Lantus. Blood sugars much better and only one low in 5 months. Lost eight pounds. No more swelling in feet or ankles. My stomach has lost its perpetual bloat. Also taking 2 tbs apple cider vinegar with lunch and dinner. I am in general, skeptical about"natural" remedies. But for my sub-group of type II diabetics, it is worth trying. Not all cinnamons are alike. Try the cassia type. Read More Read Less

Taking OTC cinnamon 1/4 tsp each morn to help lower cholesterol. Yes, it effective did so and my doctor said to stay with it because it works for me. This we information was gleaned from the Tufts University study several yrs ago. It was found a benefitual side effect for the study for using it to lower glycemic levels in diabetics.
