I started taking Theanine daily (100mg a day) after 2 weeks of daily panic attacks. Right away I noticed a difference. I could feel the anxiety build and then die down. My son takes this supplement in addition to his anxiety medication, on the advice of his psychiatrist. I am a professional musician and had a difficult solo to perform recently. At the dress rehearsal, I experienced severe nervousness. I decided to try one 500 mg for the next rehearsal, and felt much more calm but still quite nervous. For the performance, I took 1,000 mg one hour before and had a MARVELOUS experience with the concert. Theanine was suggested to me by a friend and I tried it and was surprised at how I felt calmer and less reactive to situations I'd normally over-react too. I believe it has helped me.

Having used this my self, and having given the veterinary form to my dogs to help with anexiety disorders, i have found this to be very calming and helps me regroup and focus.

THIS HELPED ME GET OFF OF ADDERALL FOR MY ADHD.AFTER SEEING WHAT IT DID TO A FRIEND OF MINE, I DECIDED TO QUIT COLD TURKEY AND SUPPLEMENTED WITH THE L-THEANINE & OMEGA 3 AND YES IT DOES WORK!! Theanine Serene has worked as a calming agent in the treatment of moderate anxiety for me. I have not experienced any side effects from this nutritional supplement. This is definitely worth trying for those whom are looking for a natural agent [as opposed to pharmaceutical medications].

You really need to update the information you have. Theanine is very safe and there are no studies show toxicity .

I stopped my periodic usage of Ambien and have been taking Theanine 200 (2) before bed and I have been sleeping pretty well - pretty impressed
