I have suffered with paroxysmal Atrial fibrillation for about 10 years. I have also had terrible bouts of heart palpitations, some of which have led to full blown afib attacks. I am not currently taking any medications other than 5mg Bystolic daily. I've been taking 1.5 grams of L-Citrulline daily in two separate 750mg doses. After two weeks on this regimen, my heart palpitations are completely...

I take a low dosage for 2-days. I had A-fib symptoms and irregular heart beats. Now my heart had gradually returned to normal!!! Cardiologist I was to see asked to be retested. But also found my heart back to Normal Health!

Tried this mainly to improve circulation in general and hoping to lower my CAC Score (Coronary Artery Calcium plaque). It was one of a number of things I did to try to lower the CAC score and I succeeded with that but can't be sure of which things I did were the most important and which may not have done anything to help. I do THINK this (l-citrulline) and arginine supplements DID help because there has been some research that showed plaque reversal with these. I also noted definite improvements in erections which rather surprised me, but these seem to have occurred at first and not as much with continued use. Several studies I found at PubMed.com did show long term use of arginine was counterproductive, even harmful, so I use that sporadically for periods of a few weeks and then stop for a couple of months. Citrulline, OTH, works better with continued use for some number of weeks, but we still don't know if very long term is really okay or not. One other benefit that is probably partly from these two supplements was my blood pressure went way down from 130's/80's to 110's/60's like it was when I was younger. Other supps that may be involved in helping this happen include arjuna, hawthorn, garlic. I am in my mid-60s, have been using from one half to one heaping teaspoon of citrulline powder when I use it. It does have a laxative effect, so more than 1 tsp is too much, probably lose it rather than use it when taken in that amount. But it does seem the noticeable effects are better with the max (1 heaping tsp) for me.

Worked for me. Borderline high blood pressure, mild to moderate bouts of ED over the past year or so... major bout recently. Did some research, started taking 750mg 2x daily and wham-o... I feel and act like a kid again. Though I'm a proponent of "natural remedies" I'm also skeptical as there are so many supplements etc. out there and so many claims. I've had about a 25% success rate with natural remedies overall. But I did not want to go the Viagra route. Citrulline literally "rocked" my world. Give it a shot and I hope it works for you as well as it did for me! ;D

As an elderly man with decreasing cardiovascular blood flow and some ED issues I have found using L-Citrulline bulk powder along with Pine Bark Extract daily has provided beneficial effects. I have not experienced any known side effects.

It works. I have pulmonary hypertension, and I take L-Argentine and L-Ciytulline and the effects have been dramatic. Give it a try. It is lowering my PH like no med has before, and the cost is minimal.
