Yogurt is my go-to for yeast infection cures. Just give it a few days and viola! Back to normal. Always use PLAIN yogurt, I use Greek yogurt, but I'm not sure that it matters.

No change in stool consistency at all. In my opinion this yogurt cures diarrhea seems to be more urban myth than truth.

After suffering from BV for a couple years, I learned about this treatment. I soaked a tampon in plain yogurt, and inserted overnight, every night, for a few months. It did seem to help initially, but eventually, I realized it wasn't. I still had the fishy-ammonia smell. I did come across one article that said you need to kill the "bad" bacteria first, before the yogurt treatment would be effective. So, I went to my doctor and was prescribed Metronidazole. After I'm done with that, I will try the yogurt again for maintenance.Read More Read Less

Most antibiotics I've taken cause diarrhea in just a few days. Recently, I had to take a strong antibiotic for 10 days for pnuemonia. Eating yogurt daily prevented any diarrhea at all. I ate one 4-ounce container of Yoplus low fat strawberry yogurt per day.

After using Nystatin powder which only worked for a few hours & had to be reapplied, after 3 tspns of yogurt, my constant itching stopped. Wonderfuly stuff. I like the "lite" kind which has less sugar.
