About the expert, Rami Burstein, PhD

Burstein is the John Hedley-Whyte Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School and Vice Chair of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His research focuses on understanding how migraine alters the nervous system, the neurobiology behind migraine triggers, and the physiological basis of light and touch sensitivity in people who have migraine.
