About the expert, George Han, MD, PhD

George Han, MD, PhD, is an internationally recognized lecturer and researcher in atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and teledermatology. He is an associate professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Han is active in basic science research and clinical trials, serving as principal investigator in trials encompassing clinical areas of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, acne, and vitiligo. He has over 80 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, as well as several book chapters and patents. He’s president of the Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, a member of the board of directors of the New York State Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, and a member of the Medical Board of the National Psoriasis Foundation. He is an associate of the International Eczema Council.
