Precaution: IRRITABILITY, EXCESSIVE CRYING DOCUMENTED IN INFANTS.

Precaution: ORAL BIOAVAILABILITY LOW; INFANT EXPOSURE MAY BE MINIMAL

Precaution: INSUFFICIENT DATA AVAILABLE; MAY CAUSE SEDATION AND INHIBIT LACTATION

Absolute Contraindication: SOLOTUSS MANUFACT. STATES BREASTFEEDING IS CONTRAINDICATED.

An adult over 60:

Precaution: MORE SENSITIVE TO CV & CNS EFX; URINARY RETENTION,INSOMNIA

Precaution: (SOM)(BEERS) MORE SENSITIVE TO CV & CNS EFX; URINARY RET.,INSOMNIA.

Precaution: (SOM)(BEERS) ANTICHOLINERGIC/HYPOTENSION; NON-SEDATING AGENTS PREF.

Giving R-Tannamine Plus to a child under 12:

Absolute Contraindication: POSSIBLE CNS EXCITATION & SEIZURE RISK IN NEWBORNS.

Absolute Contraindication: RISK OF CNS EXCITATION. DO NOT USE AGE <6 YEARS WITHOUT CLINICIAN CONSULT.

Absolute Contraindication: CONTRAINDICATED IN NEONATES PER MANUFACTURER.

Absolute Contraindication: NOT RECOMMENDED IN CHILDREN UNDER 6 YEARS UNLESS CLINICIAN CONSULTATION.
