Nursing:

Precaution: CNS/RESPIRATORY DEPRESSION,APNEA POSSIBLE;CAUTION W/ FAST CYP2D6 METABOLIZER

No Known Risk: LOW LEVELS EXCRETED WITH LOW RISK FOR ADVERSE EFFECTS IN INFANT

An adult over 60:

Precaution: (SOM)RISKS:HYPOTENSION/RESP.DEPRESS/URINARY RET./CONFUSION/CONSTIP.

Precaution: (SOM)STRICT ADHERENCE TO MAXIMUM DAILY DOSE (3000MG) ADVISED.

Giving An-Abate to a child under 12:

Warning: USE WEIGHT BASED DOSING IN CHILDREN LESS THAN 12 YRS.

Relative Contraindication: RESPIRATORY DEPRES.;CONTRAINDICATED IN RAPID METABOLIZERS W/ OBS. SLEEP APNEA
