What should I know regarding pregnancy, nursing and administering OptiMARK intravenous to children or the elderly?

If you are:

Pregnant:

Only When Necessary: ANIMAL FETAL ABNORMALITIES USING MULTIPLE DOSES 1-10 X NORMAL HUMAN DOSE

Nursing:

Precaution: OTHER GADOLINIUM AGENTS EXCRETED IN MINIMAL AMOUNTS; POOR ORAL ABOSOPRTION

An adult over 60:

Precaution: CONTRAINDICATED WITH ACUTE RENAL INJURY OR GFR<30MLMIN/1.73M2.

Giving OptiMARK intravenous to a child under 12:

Warning: NO SAFETY/EFFICACY. RARE RISK:NEPHROGENIC SYSTEMIC FIBROSIS W/ IMP. RENAL FXN

Relative Contraindication: NOT RECOM. AGE < 2 YRS. RISK W/ IMM. RENAL FXN. CANADA CONTRA. AGE < 4 WKS
