When brewing yourself a lovely cup a tea, make two: One for you and one to treat your puffy under-eye bags!
5 green tea bags
2 thick slices of cucumbers
1 generous tablespoon freshly grated ginger root
Add the tea bags to each mug, one for you and the other four in the cup. Pour in boiling water. To the bag lady’s cup, add the grated ginger and cucumber slices and let steep for at least five minutes. (Potato slices are an excellent substitute for cucumber).
Remove the cucumber slices, place them on a paper towel and put them in the refrigerator to cool. Set aside the tea mixture to cool while you position the cucumber slices over your eyes, kick up your feet and relax for 15 minutes.
Gently squeeze out the tea bags, place in a baggie and freeze to use for future treatments of puffy under-eyes! Simply take the frozen tea bags and position under your eyes for several minutes.
Refrigerate and use for up to 1 week.
