Uses

Rolapitant is used with other medications to help prevent delayed nausea and vomiting caused by cancer drug treatment (chemotherapy). It works by blocking one of the body's natural substances (substance P/neurokinin 1) that causes vomiting.

How to use Varubi Vial

Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start using this medication and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

This medication is given by injection into a vein as directed by your doctor, usually within 2 hours before you receive chemotherapy. The injection is usually given over 30 minutes. Do not use this medication more often than once every 2 weeks.

Tell your doctor if you have nausea or vomiting.
