How does Tyrvaya work (mechanism of action)?

Tyrvaya works by binding with certain receptors in the nose, called nicotinic receptors. By binding with these receptors, Tyrvaya activates a specific nerve pathway that increases the amount of tear film created by the eye. This can help treat the symptoms of dry eye.
