  • management or monitoring precaution: General-Elderly may be more sensitive to l-thyroxine. Start at lower dose. Cardiovascular-Use caution and start at lower doses in those patients with cardiac disease, particularly atrial fibrillation.

Giving Eltroxin Tablet to a child under 12

  • management or monitoring precaution: Monitor closely to avoid adverse effects on intellectual development, brain maturation, and linear growth due to overtreatment or undertreatment. Rare reports of pseudotumor cerebri and slipped capital femoral epiphysis.
