If you are PREGNANT

If you are an adult over 60
- management or monitoring precaution: Neuro/Psych-Sedation and fall risk. Preferred over long acting benzodiazepines. From the CMS State Operations Manual for Long Term Care, limit dose to less than, or equal to, 0.75mg/day unless higher doses (as evidenced by the patient's response and/or the clinical record) are necessary to maintain or improve function.
Giving Alprazolam to a child under 12
