  • Precaution: MATERNAL PROPHYLAXIS TREATMENT DID NOT RESULT IN INFANT ADV EFFECTS

    • If you are an adult over 60

  • management or monitoring precaution: Renal-Impaired renal function can increase risk of adverse or toxic reaction, Monitor renal function. Neuro/Psych-Age and longer therapy duration can increase risk of developing retinopathy. Periodic ophthalmic examination required for prolonged therapy.

    • Pediatric use

  • Severe Precaution: Parenteral routes increase risk for severe toxicity and death in children.
