What is the recommended dosage of Cymbalta for the treatment of fibromyalgia?

ANSWER

Cymbalta (duloxetine) is an antidepressant that can treat fibromyalgia, a disorder that causes widespread and on-going muscle pain and tenderness.

You take one capsule a day. The recommended daily dose is 60 milligrams. Your doctor may start you with 30 milligrams a day for the first week, and slowly up the dose.
