Nina Crumpton has made it her mission to show people what it is like to live with MS and be in a wheelchair. With her blazing red hair, loud voice, and mobility scooter, Crumpton commands the streets of Wollongong, Australia, where she lives, and she has also built an online MS community.

Crumpton started her channel It’s a Wheely Good Life to help other people with MS use their state-given funding better and also to generally access more of the resources available to them. However, it soon became something much bigger than she had initially imagined.

After some time, her channel became just as much about her personality and lifestyle as about giving people access to MS resources. Her sense of humor and upbeat attitude started to inspire her viewers. Simply being able to see someone as positive and fun who had such a high level of lifestyle as Ms. Crumpton serves as an inspiration to other disabled people.

They can see a model of a person living a full, rich, and vibrant life in a wheelchair. This positive imaging helps them to imagine such a quality of life for themselves. Ms. Crumpton says that one of her favorite parts of being a YouTuber is hearing about the success stories of people she has inspired.

Crumpton is incredibly passionate about creating more equality in the workplace. She says that the disabled community is underrepresented in both the workforce and in schools. Crumpton wants to make a world where disabled people are more included in these spaces and in society generally.

She says that her mission is to spread awareness and messages of inclusion for the disabled and all people. She hopes to make the invisible feel more empowered to share their voices with the world through humor and fun.
