There are also a variety of specialty bins, designed to diminish odor and keep the nursery smelling as fresh as possible With cloth diapers, flushing the stool is a must. When it comes to washing, always keep diapers separate from other clothing. They need a cold water rinse first followed by a hot-water wash with mild detergent. Regardless of the routine, remember the importance of washing your hands before and after every changing to prevent the spread of germs. Keeping yourself and your little one clean is part of the routine – Step by step. For WebMD, I'm Dr. Jennifer Shu.
