To be an even better role model for your kids, ask yourself this Could any of your own habits stand improving?

Are you doing a lot of sitting around staring at the TV, phone, or other screens? Get up and have fun getting more active. You and your family could take walks together, play tag or catch -- whatever you enjoy.

Are your meals full of processed food and sugary drinks? Make a healthy switch by eating fresh veggies and fruit, whole grains, and lean protein instead. Save junk food for an occasional treat.

Are you skimping on quality sleep? Try to go to bed and wake up at the same times each day. Cut off caffeine about 6 hours before bedtime. And turn off all electronics at least a half hour before you hit the sack.

Remember, your kids are watching you -- maybe more than you realize! So set the best example you can.
