How to Go Bald with Grace

When we lose hair, we tend to focus only on that. But in fact, we are our whole selves. And we interact with the world with our whole selves.

The first step to going bald with grace is coming to terms with the reality of the situation.

Absolutely, hair can be attractive, but I think more importantly is self-confidence, ambition, passion about something in their lives that they're following through with.

Next, improve the things you can.

There are lots of things that we are in charge of. And we are far better off focusing on those than we are on the things that we can't change.

Your hair is only one aspect of your appearance. A good diet and exercise will not only improve your physical health, but will likely perk up your mood. Something else to keep in mind. If you're clean on top, you're going to have to take that into consideration when you're out in the sun.

I've got to have it at every occasion. That's what you have to do. You just have to supply it. Hang it up on the nails above the bed post. Got a hat for this, a hat for that. [CHUCKLES]

And contrary to popular belief, hats do not accelerate hair loss, provided you don't tug and pull on your hair when putting on or taking off the hat. Though some hair care products do contain sunscreens, covering up the dome is your safest bet for sun protection.

Remember that losing your hair is not the end of the world or the end of your sex appeal. Many men fly their bald flag proudly.

It doesn't matter. I've known plenty of guys that are bald, and I think they're very handsome. And I'm like, that's a handsome guy.

If they're losing their hair, they should maybe just go with it and shave it all off, because especially today, that's actually very much in style.
