    No bad effects, like anything else, monitor intake, use your judgement, be smart about it you'll be fine. A good, natural medicine.

    I’ve had to cut my kratom use in half, essentially, due to the negative effect it seems to have had on my thyroid disorder. Blood testing confirms its effect, before amd after my dosage changes.

    The doctor used to prescribe pain killers for my chronic back and knee pain - they don't really work that well and are addicting. I weaned myself off of Hydrocodone and it wasn't pretty. My doctor then prescribed Tramadol saying it wasn't addictive. A year later a report came out - guess what?     I have been using Kratom off and on for about 8 years now. I do not use it to treat any type of illness. I use it primarily for focus and when I am actively engaged in doing something focus demanding activity i.e. working with customers, research and the like.     I've had a back disease and fibromyalgia for years. I'm 57 and have been taking for 8 months, and am med free and mostly pain free. Just have to get our government to quit trying to ban it
