Kratom is a gentle yet extremely effective in reducing chronic nerve pain. It also gives a relaxing feeling while being gently energizing. No side effects at all. I'm a 65 yr old petite female with spinal stenosis. My quality of life went from very poor to very tolerable with kratom. All doctors should know about this.

Kratom is deadly and addictive! I've known several people who have died and many who are struggling with terrible addiction (see Reddit thread for Quit Kratom) Please read what the FDA and National Institute for Drug Abuse (NIDA) has put out-- don't even start this drug!

I have several ailments (Unstable Angina, Neuropathy, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Cryoglobulinemia among a few) and started taking Kratom for my Neuropathy and RA pain --I was taking Tramadol and another Pharma medication, but felt zombie-like. After taking kratom, I was pain free and have been angina free for almost 2 years now. I had my teeth removed last year and took a tramadol for the pain and the tramadol no longer worked so I took kratom and the pain was gone within minutes. My cardiologist and Neurologist highly approve my use of kratom for my pain and seen an improvement (Cardiologist) in becoming angina free. I only use a total of 1 tablespoon twice a day (morning and evening before bed). I am so grateful to my friend who had introduced this herb to my life

I have psoriatic arthritis. Constant pain in my back and joints. This is where Kratom has made an impact. It is the only thing that makes my days bearable. From barely moving to being able to work out, huge difference. I’ve had Vicodin, Codeine, Tramadol. It’s pain relief is similar but I have no negative side effects! All the drugs have side effects and addictions. Kratom is not addictive to me. I have taken weeks at a time off if my flare ups retreat. Years before doing that on Vicodin meant withdrawal. So, it’s a miracle plant for people with pain. It can also give you a little energy and mood boost.

I started using kratom 5 years ago after I almost died twice using opiate prescriptions and heroin after a extremely life threatening car accident that broke my leg. Both opiates and heroin provided short term relief and helped for awhile until the day I overdosed and a paramedic saved my life barely after 5 minutes of not breathing and unconscious/my partner found me blue and not responsive. I am so lucky to have survived. After that day, I made it my mission to get off ALL opiate prescriptions and hard drugs and discovered the life saving plant called Kratom. It helped me get off of hard drugs and saved my life. I am now an elementary school teacher whom owns a house, has a good relationship with family, has a bachelor's degree in education and lives a normal and stable life. Before discovering kratom, I nearly died numerous times and consider myself extremely lucky to have found this safe and miraculous plant. It has never caused me any health problems, quite the contrary. I used to have a very inflamed liver at age 23 and now I am almost 30 and have a completely healthy liver which my doctor is super impressed by. I used to be so depressed I could barely hold a job. Kratom made me focus and have motivation that I never had before. I feel so healthy, happy and youthful and would be beyond devastated to have to go to jail over a plant just like the unfairness of marijuana users being locked up over a plant. It is grown naturally on planet earth in which should be a big indicator that it's not meant to hurt you. Chemical opiates like oxycodone were the reason of my overdose and completely suicidal ideation. Taking this plant from me would be like killing a friend or family member to me in the level of devastation. Please leave this plant alone and let it save more lives from dangerous chemical opiates/heroin and fentanyl which kill people daily. Kratom has been related to 44 deaths in HISTORY of Earth. Aspirin kills 3,000 people a year in America alone and I can buy a huge bottle of that for a dollar at the dollar store and nobody is ever trying to get that banned. All 44 related deaths had other drugs and alcohol in their system yet they want to place the blame on this plant like Xanax and Alcohol had nothing to do with the death. A gunshot would was even apart of the 44 death and someone hanging themselves. Those two people HAPPENED to have kratom in their system, which is not the reason for the death yet the DEA is doing anything they can do demonize this plant which to me is THE cure to the opiate crisis in America and the world. Please consider keeping it legal for the purpose of keeping people from using harder drugs and more deaths because of it. This plant has saved so many lives, and banning it will only cause more criminal activity in the search for harder drugs to cope with the same issues. Being locked up over a plant is beyond a waste of government resources while fentanyl is being sold easily on the streets killing hundreds by the day in America. Please keep this beautiful life saving plant legal in America. I appreciate you reading my story.

A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with arthritis. Ortho was ready to replace a hip as soon as I wanted. It is not great, at 58 years of age, to hear, "This is a hip we expect to see on a 70 year old...." I have been an active person my whole life, and in the space of a few months had too much pain to walk easily and to run. Kratom has helped me with the main, with maintaining a smooth mood and good energy throughout the day. Its an analgesic, and yes, addictive. I have to acknowledge that. But, its a much kinder drug than something like codeine or other pharmaceutical opiates. It has helped me manage pain and function.

5 years ago, I found kratom after hearing that it helps relieve muscle pain/soreness and severe seasonal allergy symptoms. I had previously tried every allergy medicine I could find, and they came up short and/or stopped working several months after taking them every day. I take kratom daily when I’m having allergy symptoms, and I have done so for the past 5 years. It works like nothing else for allergy symptoms, muscle pain and soreness, and fatigue, very similar to coffee. It is related to the coffee plant, and it is not a dangerous substance as some insist. This plant has had a profound positive impact on my well-being. I have checkups and blood tests every year, and the results are always healthy and within normal range. Please try it if you have pain, fatigue, seasonal allergies. It has also helped tons of people with depression and anxiety.
