SUBJECT 1: They said "You have
to go to the hospital right now."
And I was like, what?
What do you mean right now?
SUBJECT 2: First your water's
going to break,
and then this is going
to happen, and then they'll get
closer together, and they'll get
really intense-- I wasn't doing
any of those things!
I was just feeling
uncomfortable.
SUBJECT 3: I thought when you
had the contractions was
the time to push,
but you have to wait till you're
dilated a certain number
of centimeters.
SUBJECT 1: I'm like, don't give
me the epidural,
I'm going to go all natural.
But by the time that the water
broke and that I'm throwing up,
I'm just like, please give me
the epidural, please give me
the epidural!
SUBJECT 3: Blood everywhere,
amongst other liquids
and things, I don't know.
SUBJECT 2: They said "Hey,
you want to cut the cord?"
And he goes "Uh, OK.
Snip it off--"
he said it's kind of tough.
You know, it's like cutting
through the grisly part
on a steak.
SUBJECT 3: And you're going
to forget about all the pain.
The minute they're there,
you forget about it all.
SUBJECT 2: I have a baby.
SUBJECT 1: The baby is safe,
and that's the most important
thing in the end for you.
SUBJECT 2: Just know that you
can do it.
And even if things go wrong,
you can still do it.
